Heiner's Bakery reviews
35 Curry pie was ok, but the croissiant was more like a bread roll.
Good prices, good for a quick breakfast.
Lesson number 1 in finding a good bakery, ignore all the tourists and go where the locals go,
Good food, wide range and brilliant service
This is the best bakery we have come across in Victoria so far. Great bakery with a wide variety of different sweet and savoury goods. Staff on the front counter are nice and friendly. The hot donuts and apple strudels are a brilliant way to start the day. Thank you for being so nice to my dog too
Lovely staff. Good selection of breads, sweets. Sit down dining area to side as well. Plenty of parking in the service lane out front.
The best ham salad roll I’ve had in years. Great selection of pies, sandwiches, cakes and pastries. Spacious air conditioned space to sit and eat. Friendly staff.
Nice outdoor courtyard. Their sausage rolls and vanilla slices are superb. They also make very nice milkshakes
Fabulous and mess free pastries, easy to eat and very prompt service. Fresh cream in the passion fruit slice and recognisable apples in the apple slice, very refreshing.great coffee and wonderful variety of milks to accommodate for everyone. Fabulous outdoor atmosphere and lovely bird bath. Fresh and wide range of delectable sandwiches. Good covid protocols. Will be coming back again.
Great.its a little hard to find but well worth the seeking out.friendly (of course.everyone in Myrtleford is nice) and its nice to see a bakery that doesnt have tags on itself just really good food.and the peppercorn pies are superb
10/10
Everything was perfect.

-Pastry was amazing and pie filling was phenomenal, would travel time and time again to eat from here.
Simple bakery with pies and pastries.
I tried the steak mushroom pie, it was alright.
But the coffee/vanilla slice was so tasty.
I loved it! Huge, well balanced. I definitely recommend
Friendly staff, quality food and coffee, reasonable prices, good environment. Just a little walk for less than 2 minutes from the main Street B500. Comparatively, meals in restaurants in main street are unreasonably high.
Still good fresh stock and usually same consistency except for the steak and bacon pies that I have been having for a number of years now. The flavour has gone out of them in the last four months. Staff usually good except when a friend arrives. Then the other customers have to listen to the salutations, how is so in so, little Freddie had a fall, etc. Then again I cop this in most places I shop in Myrtleford.
Great selection of pies, breads, cakes and even ice cream. Have been here a few times before so we know what to expect. The quality and taste of the pies is amazing. Worth a stop when your travelling through Myrtleford
I didn't think much of what is an average bakery. I realise their doing it tough over COVID but the product is basically mainstream breads and pastries. Nothing special.
I think the Pie was microwaved then put in the warmer. Burnt my mouth and was soggy and not great. Wont be back
Heiners Bakery!: The bomb bacon & egg rolls, pies & coffee. Freshest rolls straight from the oven. Awesome food.
Lovely country bakery, lovely food and the best ice creams in mrytleford, will definitely return, of course that also helps that the staff are friendly and helpful. Well done.
Best bakery in the region. Don’t be fooled by the bigger names. You won’t be dissappointed with this place.
Poor quality shelf life rubbery chicken used for their salad rolls. There prices are up and there is unnecessary confusion to what to charge to certain items i.e. The displayed premade selection of sandwiches/rolls. There needs to be clear price markings in cabinet. The person, older lady, serving me was polite and lovely to deal with. However the customer service by the bystander staff, possibly the manager/higher up in the staff chain, objecting for correctly the ambiguity, was perceived as abrupt and condescending, disappointed nevertheless.
