Wow don't know why I've received bad service with all the 5 stars and good reviews, 2 weeks and I'm still waiting on the phone call to let me know when I can bring my car in to fix my mirror. Any day now.hopefully this will urge yas to give me that call.

Took my car here for a service recently, anticipating a few issues as she's a little old and well-used. There's been a few more than expected, but throughout the entire process Gary and the team have been absolutely incredible. Gary specifically took a significant amount of time to sit down and explain everything to me in full detail, with photos, answering all my questions and talking candidly about all my options. They have been extremely communicative, accommodating, and understanding, and I am so grateful to have found a mechanic that truly cares about their customers. I would absolutely recommend Heidelberg Automotive.

I have had two repairs done by this mechanic and the service has been very good.
For example, when I told him I needed a headlight fixed immediately to get my RWC, he ordered the part and fixed it within a few days.
And above all, they friendly spoke easy-to-understand English to me, a Japanese who speaks poor English.
The quality of service was fine, but above all, I thought the staff had a very good customer service attitude.

Fantastic service with very affordable costs. Gary and the team has been incredible in helping my car keep going and save me costs in the long term. Highly recommend for anyone needing a mechanic who will go to every length to help you and your car.

Brilliant! My windscreen wiper flew off on the Calder so I popped in to these guys and they were super helpful and friendly and the price was reasonable. I live in Daylesford but I'd almost drive here to get my car done A+

My Sony AV receiver use for Apple CarPlay that I depend on for GPS stopped working. So distressing. I narrowed the cause to USB cable loose or disconnect. Short of removing the unit myself I called Gary. He kindly responded for me to bring in next morning. I got there. He asked Ben to have a look. Ben in no time reconnected the USB cable. Bingo. CarPlay came alive. Thank you to Gary and Ben. My next regular maintenance I will see Gary and team. Thank you.

Heidelberg Automotive is truly an outstanding mechanic! Not only is the quality of work just exceptional, they are genuine honest mechanics! They are not out there to milk you for your money! Dealing with a mechanic can often be fraught for the non-males amongst us, but Garry and his team are nothing but a delight. He explains clearly (and even showed the work as it was underway when I returned the loan-car). Ben, who did the work, worked late and overtime to return our car's engine to a new state - the work was above and beyond and really appreciated - as was the loan car (taught my kids how to use a manual window winder!). Amazing service. I usually hate going to the mechanic because I don't understand what's going on. Garry explained everything in simple terms, took photos and let me have control over what was done. Kept me informed on costs the entire way. Will definitely be using them as my regular mechanic and recommending to family and friends.

The most genuine and honest mechanic I have been to. As a 1st year apprentice I rely on my vehicle and had a breakdown in December. Gary and his team where able to fit me in, get my car back up and running and took the time to explain what he had done, what to watch out for me what will need to happen in the future. I have serviced my commercial van with Heidelberg Automotive Repairs since 30,000km. This van is my mobile office and my business depends on it operating flawlessly everyday. I have been extremely happy with the level of service and transparency with their team. They have provided service that keeps the vehicle operating just like the day I purchased it. I’m especially impressed with how clean they keep the van’s engine oil in a Diesel engine.

My van had a small oil leak from the dealership, not sure if they missed it or didn’t service it properly. Gary at Heidelberg Automotive Repairs sent me photos of the issue and suggested I reach out to the dealer to make it right.
