I love this place! The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and the food is not your usual generic stuff, but really interesting and authentic

We have had take away from here a few times. We get the Paella. Very generous servings and plenty of chorizo and chicken. Will keep going back.

Very nice place. Amazing service all the workers really respectful. The food that we all ordered was absolutely magnificent and if anyone’s looking to go somewhere for someone’s birthday i highly recommend this place. My dad even got a mexican hat and the happy birthday song over the speaker.place was magnificent and would have to be my favourite place i’ve been too

It was ok, nothing special. Have been to Mornington which really popped. This place has more of a cafe vibe but went with a positive attitude initially. $3.50 extra for a teaspoon of guacamole, $65 for a carafe of Margherita, forgot one of our main meal orders, very noisy to the effect couldn't hear any music even though something was playing, don't know what, hard to get servers attention, overall it was just so so. Went Saturday night at 7 pm. Really hard to find a restaurant that serves real Mexican food as it's a little bit westernised. Prices way to expensive for the quality of the food. As we say "we've been here twice, first and last"

So busy but did not affect service. Like their take on Mexican cuisine, and the margareritas were great!

Atmosphere was great, service was good but the food was a let down. With Mexican I’d expect bursts of flavour and texture. The rice was bland, the meat chewy and the flavour was pretty boring. And for anyone thinking of going there is no split bills so make sure you have someone who’s happy to have you all send money to them to pay if you’re in a group eating.

My partner & I had dinner here & LOVED it! We both had the enchilada (his with chicken, mine the veg con carne) & enjoyed every bite! The Mexicolada drink was a delicious virgin pina colada that I could’ve had several glasses of, it was so good! We highly recommend the food, delicious, great sizes & the prices were great. We would love to come back next time we’re in Ballarat!

Normally I eat in here and have never had an issue with service or the food. Tonight I got take away and waited 25 minutes for it to be ready after it was supposed to be ready. Staff had to take the order back as I asked if they had put the drink in and they had missed the drink/chips on the order. I eventually got the order after a half hour and got home to discover my ensalada was literally beans and rice, with 4 lettuce leaves for “salad” and then the grilled chicken wasn’t even included. $54 for a tiny burrito with a half filled bag of about 10 chips and an ensalada with no protein and a tiny little dish of gucamole that was $3.50 extra. Definitely won’t be doing take away from here again. Would only suggest eating in at non peak times.

Food when it eventually came was very good, the service was slow and the restaurant was near unbearably loud, you could barely hear the person next to you or across the table.

Staff incredible friendly & food taste delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant for any event.

Absolutely love coming here! The staff are so welcoming and it offers a beautiful contrast to Ballarats bleak outside. The chimichanga and chicken tacos are my absolute favourite

Service was not good and the food was very average, the Birria tacos we ordered was extremely dry and the broth tasted like nothing, very bland.

The food was nice but we were charged for 2 bottles of sparkling water when we were only served tap water in a reusable tequila bottle. We realised it only after we have made the payment. Can’t imagine how else we would be charged if we had a few rounds of tequila. They did not asked if we want sparkling water so I would think that it’s not honest to charge us for that. Other than this, everything else is good.

1st time, 2 adults & 2 children. Clean, ambient atmosphere, Chirpy staff, outstanding prompt service. There is a meal for everyone from nachos to burritos. Meals to share. Grilled corn to die for. Chocolate covered chiros, Sizzle Brownie and Chocolate and cinnamon covered nachos. Mochtails and cocktails.
