Had a lovely dinner tonight. Real busy place felt like saturday night. Must try the chimmichuri burrito. Loved it.

Unfortunately the experience tonight was extremely sub par. We walked in to be seated and had to approach the bar to ask for a table and they had to clear one which was fine. We sat and around 10-15 minutes later water was brought out, but with no offer to take drink/food orders. We waited about 30-40 minutes without even ordering until we had to go up to the bar and ask to order. The food came out probably 45 minutes after that and was incorrect. We ordered the chicken quesadilla with no chipotle sauce and received beef quesadillas covered in sauce — and no apology about the long wait or any items removed from the bill. Horrible experience overall

The main word to describe the food is
Bland.
The rice was bland, the beans were bland, even the guacamole was bland.
Also, it took them 20 minutes to deliver a Diet Coke to the table, another 30 minutes to deliver the food.
Thank god I had good company, otherwise, this review would’ve been a lot worse.

Magaritas so yummy! Fish tacos is the best I had! Friendly staff. Amazing! Lots of smile! Great experience! Love it! This place makes me hapoy!?

The staff here are gorgeous and served us so warmly, and the food…delicious, and the margs…strong, just how I like it. We were here for a birthday and one of the beautiful girls brought us churros on the house, so generous! You guys are never going to be able to get rid of me <3

Just had the absolute worst take out experience ever, food cold, dried out, fried & refried, burger solid and black at the edges, nachos soggy & chewy, called to discuss with the restaurant who were defensive & unhelpful, really terrible, the kids were laughing so much they made a video of how bad the food is… it’s probably on Tik Tok now

After doing takeaway for dinner multiple times it was well worth the effort to dine in for a change. Delicious food and friendly service

My second dine in at Hecho Cheltenham, and I brought a friend for his first venture. Both our minds were blown by the burst of flavours and variety of individual tastes each dish contain. The empanadas and char grilled corn are some of the best in Melbourne, and the sizzling brownie is a dessert to remember. Always great service with a smile, nothing is ever a problem and a consistently great menu. What more could you want? This is Mexican like Melbourne hasn't experienced before.

Very inconsistent.
Different amount of food every time. Half empty box of food. I ordered pulled pork nachos without jalapeños but instead you gave me beef nachos with jalapeños! And that’s second time like that!

Enjoyed our meal and service was good. We paid as we ordered as they don't split the bill.
However I received a call from them once I got home to say we hadn't paid for a margerita and a sour cream dipping sauce. We only had 1 margerita which was paid for when ordered as was the dipping sauce. A bit disappointing and has turned me off returning.

The food is awesome good and the service is excellent!
They are super friendly and make our meals a great experience!

They are very nice people with the serve from Melbourne Australia chat with us and was very helpful with our order cause I can’t take cheese.
