81Amazing place for veggie and vegan Mexican food! Veggie burito and vegan nachos are so good, and Paola was wonderful:)
Delicious food! Their chimichangas and fish tacos are something to write home about. Daniela took very good care of us and recommended an off the menu margarita Spicy, sweet and delicious. Thank you for the great night Daniela
xx Elma and Cat
Friendly welcoming staff with nearly each dish we ordered having a burst of flavour.
Paella was a touch too salty and as good as the habanero fried chicken wings are @ $9.50 for 2 half pieces (so effectively 1 wing) - pricing for this particular dish is taking it to another level, my feedback is reconsider the quantity served or revise what's been charged.
Churros were a delish end to the meal. Happy to come back to try other menu items.
Best Mexican outside of Mexico! Paola gave wonderful, friendly service; cocktails were delicious and food tasted not only amazing but was so well presented! 10/10 will return! Thank you!
Went for the bottomless brunch today and was sooo satisfied. Great Margaritas and food was quick and delicious. Definitely worth the price and Paola was an excellent server. The whole team was lovely too. Definitely a regular haunt for me
Delicious, delicious food with helpful staff and a relaxed vibe. Margaritas aplenty, done really well.
Sam was an awesome host! Played happy birthday to embarass my sister for her 18th. Very fun and great food too!
This place is good but very westernized mexican there is very few real mexican dishes to chose from. But if you want you burritos and tacos its the place to go to
Don't go here.
We booked to come here for a birthday at 7pm on Saturday night. After being seated we were told that we needed to leave by 8.30pm, which is not uncommon for busy restaurants at this time so we didn't have a problem with this. We quickly ordered our drinks and entrees, and told the waiter to come back for the mains. Our drinks included a single classic margarita, and a single piña chipotle margarita. At about 7.30pm, our waiter said, you need to be out by 8.30pm, I will take your order for mains now (we thought it was a little rude but that's okay, they were busy) so we ordered 1x quesadilla and 2x California burrito's with chicken.
Our drinks and entrees were served quite quickly, and the drinks were very good!
After this is where the problems started (beside the fact we were told twice before ordering that we needed to be out by 8.30pm). Because our drinks were so good, shortly after ordering our mains we decided to order a jug of the classic margarita at $48. The jug came out, and we were extremely disappointed that it tasted like it had no alcohol in it at all. It tasted like cordial/margarita mix and was FULL of ice. Because we were so disappointed with our margarita jug (which was still more than half full at this stage) when our mains finally arrived (at 8.12pm) we explained to the waiter that we felt the jug tasted in no way like it had alcohol in it as opposed to our first drinks, and we didn't feel that it was fair to be charged $48 for this. The waiter didn't really say anything, and another waiter saw we didn't look happy so he came over (the same waiter who took our order for mains). We again explained that we weren't happy with the drink and why, however he was pretty rude in his response, he disagreed and said that they used the quantity of 3x margaritas and topped it up with more mixer to fill the jug, and if we remained unhappy to talk to the manager and pointed up to the register/bar. We accepted that we should mention this when paying and began to eat our mains.
Our burritos, which took over 40 minutes from the time of ordering were BARELY even slightly warm inside! Not sure how something that took this long could basically be cold. Given that it was made extremely clear to us that we had to be out of the restaurant 18 minutes later and that we had already complained about the drink when we typically aren't the type to complain about something unless it's basically extortion (which the jug was), we didn't bother saying anything about the food.
Our invoice was also put on our table 2 minutes after our food came, reinforcing the whole 'you must be out by 8.30pm'.
After not finishing our mains and leaving half of the jug behind, we went to pay our bill (just before 8.30pm because we didn't want to cop the wrath if we were late) and at this point it was the supervisor who served us. We calmly and politely explained that we weren't happy with the jug, that there was a significant difference between this and our first drinks which were $30 less, and that we were in no way prepared to pay the $48 for this. The supervisor was instantly argumentative and rude, dismissing the feedback. She spoke over us and would not listen, she refused to acnowledge our opinion, and without using the word she essentially called us liars, saying that they use the same quantity as 3x margaritas. She said 'why didn't you say anything' to which we confirmed that we had, infact we told two waiters but obviously that was inadequate. In the service industry you would typically expect some sort of insincere apology at the very least, which we also didn't receive. Because of her unwillingness to assist or acknowledge our frustration, we accepted a 10% discount she begrudgingly offered and left.
Overall, the food was average at best (with the exception of the cold burritos which were awful) but I wish I could give 0 stars because of the service. Avoid at all costs.
It was AMAZING!
The food was outstanding (fish taco votes our number one fav Mexican dish in Melbourne).
The drinks were ever flowing. A huge thank you to SAM for making the best margaritas in Melbourne.
Could not recommend this place more.
Their boozy brunch is an absolute must.
Ordered through Uber. They attached my order to the wrong bag so I received someone else's order. I called the restaurant and they not only blamed the driver but said I needed to call uber to have another driver sent as my items were still in the restaurant. Unsure how the driver is to blame if my order ticket is on the bag and my items are still in the restaurant. I dont believe uber even has a phone number to call to have another driver sent, I certainly couldn't find one. Left hungry and without solution, one star.
Okay Food with unfriendly waitress!
We went there for a nice afternoon lunch with a couple of drinks.
Blue and white corn chips with salsa and guacamole were small for $10 and nothing special.
Burrito and taco were good.
Our waitress was not really chatty or friendly, wasn’t really happy to be there.
There are Better Mexicans in the city
Always love the food here! So full of flavour! Last time the nachos were served cold which was very disappointing but I still give it 5 stars because overall the food is generally great no matter what you eat. Quesadillas here are probably the best I've ever had
This is a amazing place, usually I visit it with some friends and we have a good time and very nice food. The service is very fast, the prices are ok and the staff is so friendly. I recommended this place 100%
Really nice and cozy Mexican restaurant! I’d fully recommend the place. The waitresses are very friendly and professional. The food was delicious. 10/10 for the customer service. Really nice experience
Don’t go here, the food was so sloppily made and my corn chips were stale, I have a stomach ache now; so I’m worried. It all was so below mediocre never coming back!
Very bad! Flavourless, the only flavour comes from jalapeños which is obviously not enough.veggies tasted like they gone bad or something.not sure what it was.should not be called Mexican.
Really really bad, I was so hopeful but my food was awful! Horrible CHEESELESS nachos and the vegetables on them were just steamed broccoli and some corn that weren’t actually mixed with the beans or sour cream, my brownie was so dry it got rock hard in the middle: (microwaved food?
Went two nights running on a recent visit to Melbourne the food was so good. Tasty, good quality, great value and largely gluten free. The Red Sangria and the Quesadillas are highly recommended. Service fast and friendly with good atmosphere.
Yuck! Please go somewhere different if you want Mexican! Bland tasteless food, that tastes like it’s from the frozen food section of Aldi! You can’t just rely on the spiciness of jalapeños to make up for actual flavour!
