Heatherton Village Fish & Chips

An dinner order for a family in crisis was cancelled an hour and a half before it to be delivered. I would not order a meal with Heatherton Village F&C it is sensitively.

The only positive about this place was the lady that served us. The wait time was ridiculous, customers that ordered after us were receiving their order before us. The food was so greasy and was of bad quality. I don't expect much from a local fish and chip place but this was place was not good at all.

Place has gone down hill since presumably changing owners.
Fish is soggy and doesnt taste fresh.had s real fishy smell and taste.
Won't be returning.

I went in today to try this place as a friend had recommended it. By far the cleanest fish and chip store I have walked into. The food was so fresh and not oily like you find many takeouts. Honestly would highly recommend to go and try it out.

Tasted great! But I think wrapping up the fish and chips in paper helps to keep them warmer than in a box that's inside a paper bag.

Having my own fish n chip shop once upon a time, it's a rarity finding one you can say "magnificent! ". Food is tasty, oil is fresh & service was great. First time customer & well satisfied. Well done!

The service was friendly but the battered fish was so soggy of oil that I could not eat it, the oil was either clearly not to frying temperature and/or the fish was not drained after frying. The chips were undercooked and the salad was ordinary. May as well have eaten toast. Very disappointed.

I come here twice to three times a week.

I always enjoy ordering 'The Lunch Special' which is $6 for a Chicken Schnitzel Burger and cold can of drink. (BARGAIN).

Another meal I love is the 2 pack which includes Minimum chips, 2 dim sims, 2 potato cakes and 2 pieces of beautiful Flake. This is $19 and is great value.

The shop itself is always neat, tidy, clean and fresh. Staff are super helpful and very friendly. I am a big fan of the kids working here. They are smarter and more efficient than a lot of adults. Hard working family who deserves the money I spend here. Its worth every penny!

5 STARS, EVERYTIME

Sorry guys but 50 mins waiting for an order is just silly. I phoned through an order last Friday night at 6.04pm and walked out of your shop at almost 6.55pm. I wouldn't even have considered it a busy night - in the half hour I was in the shop only four people walked out with orders. Don't think I will be back.

The Fish & Chips are good, decent size chips, fish peices and well cooked. Will be going here for all my Fish & Chips meals from now on.
