Heathcote Queen Meadow Caravan Park

Super basic style caravan park.
Very clean amenities.smaller sized gravel sites for caravans and grassed areas for tents.boom gate open during day, closed from 6pm with code needed.many kangaroos come to feed on grass in late afternoon evening.dog friendly.

Great van park with clean amenities & camp kitchens spread out. Laundry with book swap. Lovely grassed area for nonpwered sites which kangaroos keep short in the evenings. Central fire pit (winter). Enclosed, grassed dog run. Pub, IGA, & other takeaway food outlets a short walk into town. We stayed as a cheaper base for Bendigo (1/2 hour drive). Thoroughly recommend & would stay again.

Firstly, we were met by Barbara at the office - SO welcoming and warm! We didn't have a booking but that was NO problem. The amenities are absolutely spotless, there is even a small fenced off leash dog area. Supermarket and pub and pizza close by!

Friendly owners, clean facilities and great location within walking distance of the main street. It's so good even a mob of kangaroos visit every night at dusk! An awesome sight for the kids and adults alike.

Really well-managed. Immaculately clean. Excellent greeting and check in. A hot shower and 12 hours sleep after cycling the O’Keefe Rail Trail from Bendigo.

Lovely quiet caravan/ camp site. Clean tidy toilet and laundry blocks. Really helpful owners, river alongside with path to walk to town on. Pets welcome on leads. Will definitely come again.

Located in the heart of Heathcote. The showers are hot and clean and the BBQ area very well maintained. We came to visit friends many times before but this is our first time staying overnight.

We booked a powered site at this lovely picturesque caravan park for 5 nights and loved every second of it. Great clean level sites, amazing star views at night and so peaceful and quiet! Park owners were so lovely and helpful, and amenities were well maintained and clean. The camp kitchen even has a Gas powered Pizza oven available to use for free! Super close to town and to local sightseeing places. And only a shirt trip to Bendigo!
We will be back for sure.

We have been 4 times, it's great for us an hour and a half from home, love the location lots of room, clean facilities and nice people, do the wineries or pubs Commercial in town is a good feed, or just drive around, this time of the year nice with the deciduous trees

Great park with good facilities. Lovely management and owners who were very helpful and friendly. The park is walking distance to all the amenities in Heathcote like the pubs & wine tasting bars. Well worth a visit and stay.

Generous sites for mefuim sized caravans.facilities were very clean. It was lovely watching the kangaroos coming out at night grazing on the grass around the park.

Very friendly owners and accommodating, we turned up without a booking and they fitted us in with no drama's as we have a big unit. Grounds beautifully maintained, plenty of amenities around the grounds. Close walk to town and public swimming pools.

We stayed here as part of a large group - half stayed in cabins half on powered sites. The staff were wonderful, accommodating and welcoming. The caravan park was quiet, an easy walk to the local pool. The cafes are also a quick and easy walk. The amenities were clean. The cabins were basic but very clean. There are also camp kitchens and a fire pit. We will be back to stay, we all loved it. Thank you.

Barbara was most helpful finding me a quiet powered site. Amenities were very clean. Camp fires in a suitable container were ok. For pet lovers there is a dog enclosure where they can be off lead. Very quiet at night.

Great park, friendly caretakers and locals, close to town, amenities clean and tidy, enjoyed our week stay.

We were met by Barbara and she is lovely to chat to. Our site was flat and grassy and as dry as you can expect given the amount of rain here recently.
There a 3 x toilet and shower blocks so you won't have to wait at all.
We had power, water and sullage for $34 for the night.
Had a really peaceful nights sleep.

Lovely park, enjoyed our firepit on our camp site, very friendly and inviting hosts and within close proximity to a great town with so many lovely little eateries. We will be back thank you.

Great little park. Stunning big shady trees. Hostess just fabulous. A group booking so cooked us pizza s for tea. Thank you very much, they were really yummy.

Delightful dog friendly caravan park, easy walking distance to town. The caretakers were lovely and walked us to our spot. They even asked the family in the spot behind us, who arrived minutes before us, whether they would let us drive through their spot before they set up, as we're not too confident reversing in. Very clean amenities and the gated off-leash area was very much appreciated to allow our pup to run off some steam.
