Heard of Cowes Butchery

On holiday in Cowes from Gippsland, bought steak from here and the owner was absolutely amazing.we had a good chat, told us how to cook it and had a laugh. 10/10 would recommend this butcher to anyone on the island. The owner was lovely and i wish he had a shop near me.

This is a great place. Bought a beautiful piece of rump. So tender when I cooked it. The butcher was terrific and a fisherman! Come over to Barwon Heads mate. Plenty of bream there.

Fantastic quality meats and a great local business. Rohan works 70 hours a week and does a great job. I will continue to support great small Australian businesses like this.

Rowan is a friendly & knowledgeable butcher who knows his meat and will look after you. Amine sufferers should ask him directly how they can minimise their amines, and which meat to buy on which days. He can even make up a special batch of low allergy sausages, given 24 hours notice and a 3kg minimum batch.

So if you are on Philip Island, go to the little arcade off the Woolies to find the Heard of Cowes butchers.
