Wanting to share my experience with Healesville Hospital. I had a medical procedure booked and from the moment I walked through the front entrance I was treated like a person and not a number. The communication before, during and after was exceptional. The staff in all areas were very efficient, caring and made me feel very comfortable.

From entering the hospital l was greeted by a lovely gentleman then the receptionist staff were very kind and polite! Once entering the day procedure rooms, l was treated with care and everything was explained in a positive manner! Recovery was fantastic, thank you to all the staff who attended to me on the 16/8/23. Highly recommended Healesville Hospital

For an office lady to turn around and tell someone they can not be inside with there partner just because of a mask being slightly below their nose when they have an exemption from the same hospital that you are being kicked out of is utterly ridiculous I’ve been coming to this facility since I was a child and I don’t take kindly to someone who doesn’t know the severity of a situation before making assumptions and to make matters worse it was only me and my partner in the waiting room the only person bothered by my actions was the lady in question this has been by far my worst experience with an office personnel and I’m discussed by her actions

(updated on 11/5/23) Had my procedure done at Healesville Hospital yesterday, another great experience, from arrival to procedure completion, there was hardly any waiting time, and didn't see any other patients. The facility was clean and tidy.
From Dr Frank Chen, anesthetist Yan Chow, Joy Ann, Hope to the ladies at the gate and reception desk, everyone was professional, friendly and caring. Thank you again!

A big thank-you to all the staff at Healesville Hospital for providing such an excellent professional service for my mum's colonoscopy procedure yesterday. From the staff at the door, receptionist, nurses Dani, Hope, the anesthetist and Dr Frank Chen, everyone was extremely nice and friendly, the whole process was seamless, the facility was clean. We felt safe and comfortable the whole duration. It's absolutely a 5-star hospital! Just a pity that we didn't have enough time to tour around our favourite town and the procedure was already completed that mum was ready for pick-up.:)

A fantastic local service. Wish there was one of these in many more towns. I've used the GP clinic about five times. The staff are lovely and the service a good standard. Not world class. Though certain got have the foundations covered.

I had Colorectal procedure and hemorrhoid ligation in healesville hospital, otherwise i have to wait few more month or maybe a year to go to box hill hospital, it was great experience here, nice staff, nice specialist, very responsible, had to go to toilet after the procedure, the loving nurse was standing outside of the toilet waiting for me, and also call my name every 10 seconds to make sure i won't faint in there, that was really VIP experience. My App was 8: 30 in the Morning, finished about 12 or 1, and then had luch there, waited for my father in law to pick me up, the nurse walked outside with me, handed over me to my father in law. Really good hospital, i had great experience there.

Nice new hospital but very under-used unfortunately. The GP clinic inside is good and bulk billed and the radiology/x-ray there is fantastic so locals don't have to drive down the line to get an x-ray done and for free as well, however being so nice and new, it's a shame there aren't more surgeries being done there. A new theatre and nurses who want to have more procedures done there, makes it a real shame and seems almost like a waste of time and money and resources. It has the potential to be a great maternity hospital even if it would be a small one, yet is mainly being used for dialysis and geriatric and palliative care on the ward. The whole place is so nice and the facilities are great, just a shame it isn't being used to its full potential, especially in a more rural area where we can struggle to get health care like scans and procedures done without having to travel ages. The nearest hospital is a good 45mins away, so it's a shame the hospital right in town is barely used as an actual hospital.

Nice hospital and the staff where just as nice. Went there for a Colonoscopy and gastro-oscopy but the doctor wasn't informed about the oesophagus and wasn't aware that I had already received notification from the liaison manager that I was meant to get both. Now I have to wait until January next year. Even though I have had two spontaneous oesophagus ruptures it is not good enough. I have PTSD and it was evident that there was a problem with the oesophagus. To bad if it ruptures again. But I have not heard a word from the person that I changed my routine for taking the Colonoscopy liquid to keep me awake for nearly 48 hours, anyone who has been through this knows what I mean. It probably means nothing to them but it was a bad experience for me aswell as my elderly mum and dad. This time I won't survive the surgery when it happens again. But I shouldn't be here after the first one

Ridicculus waiting time to be seen by a doctor.waited 45 minutes to be admitted, with 2 doctors 'working' in the clinic. In this time they managed to see 1 person (whole 5 minute visit). Seriously, if you really feel unwell or may struggle with something - for your own sake, go somewhere else.

I had bloods done on 7/1/2020 and Amanda had a bit of trouble trying to get blood from me she tried 5-6 times and I just want to say thank you I usually end up so bruised but you can’t even tell I’ve had a blood test. Amanda you are a very caring lady and you are exceptionally good at what you do and I wanted you to have some Recognition as you deserve it
Thank you

The moment we went into the hospital until we left 5 weeks later the staff work so hard to get my husband well after a fall (age 87) The nursing staff doctors and all back up health workers couldn't have done more! The domestic and cleaning staff brighten up the days as well.and the food was great! I/We owe them so much.

Very caring staff. The doctors are very knowledgable. It's also a training practice for medical and nursing students on their community placement rotations.

They also have a nurse on duty, community health staff like counselling and dietetics.

There are visting specialists, and basic xray facilities.

The hospital doesn't have a doctor there all the time but you can get transferred there if you are stable but need ongoing care. There is an operating theatre for some same day low risk procedures.

Was here for a small procedure and was looked after perfectly. All of the nurses and doctors showed a lot of care. One of the doctors followed up the next day, and one of the nurses the day after that.

I experienced amazing care during my overnight stay for an operation. From caring nurses/staff to great food I cannot reccomend highly enough. A newly renovated premises had me thinking i was in a private hospital

The doc didn't want to take a away a suspected skin cancer spot. Instead she asked a lot of questions about my family and private things. Perhaps she didn't feel confidence doing a small surgery? She also told an apprentice to burn another spot not suspected cancer but she sprayed to little to have the wanted affect. Are apprentices really allowed to treat patients?

Re below review from "whatever - cat", thats ridiculous, there are no APPRENTICE medical staff anywhere and the fact the doc made so many enquiries into you life shows she had a full care approach.you seem to have a crappy attitude so perhaps she was also trying to help you with whats causing that?
