I struggled with the therapists and never felt like they understood any of my problems, instead giving me platitudes about how I should learn to love myself or something like that. The employment support was awful. They did nothing for months until they managed to find a job for me. When that job was quickly turning sour, the working conditions were getting worse, and I was struggling with a controlling manager, all of which were hell on my mental health, their advice was to essentially try to stick it out for a little longer. Absolute trash service, would not recommend them. I would recommend looking elsewhere for therapy if possible.

Never trust headspace if you require mental health support. The taps in the bathrooms work though, the plumbers at headspace are great, wish there mental health team would take note.

Friendly receptionists.

The intake people mental health clinician kinda rude especially when you ask for specifics support, it felt that they don’t really want to help, they repetitively kept referring me to find somewhere else to go. Wait time is about 7-12 month just to be able to talk to a psychologist, if wanting to see a psychiatrist additional wait time on top of your wait time. Overall if you are willing to wait then wait, or like me went somewhere else to get mental health support with quicker access for support and better resource.

Very unhappy! Went through a lot of effort to get into this place for them to never call me back.

Have been coming here for years, and have never felt so supported. I can't thank these guys enough for how much they've given me.

I went through psychosis. Headspace helped me in the inpatiend ward and out of it for two years. I am the happiest I have ever been now from severe anxiety, depression and even my schizophrenia is nothing now. Haha Couldn't thank this service enough!

Psychologists were ok here and did try genuinely to help clients

As for the psychiatrist Miriam Schaefer, she is a ruthless individual who namely peddles the far right governments pregorative of the day which is so some “intense exercise” and get a PHAMS - personal helpers and mentors worker
Which is going to do me a whole lot of good with serious clinical conditions,

Please note her support is limited as “non ongoing” so efforts would most certainly be better spent looking for a community psychiatrist
