headspace Hawthorn

Gave me more trauma, took years to see another psychologist and now have to unpack my psychologist trauma from this place.

I was so nervous before the appointment but the person taking me (eisha) was lovely. They not only did my assessment but made me feel as comfortable as possible, and made me trust them which allowed me to be my true self. Although this was assessment I felt as free as possible to talk. Pls go to hawthorn headspace.

Headspace Hawthorn have been amazing during covid-19 by being so willing to provide a relevant and valuable online presentation for my university club. Our members really resonated with the talk and had some wonderful feedback. The staff were professional, yet relatable for the university demographic. They provided so much great insight into mental health awareness, which was all adapted to the current situation. I am really looking forward to collaborating with them in the future!

Staff were really friendly and accommodating when I enquired on behalf of my child who needed support. I was put through to the right person by the receptionist, and the staff member gave me a lot of information over the phone and then emailed me immediately with links and follow up info.

I went in desperately needing help, first appointment was okay have good suggestions on how to help. Every time I was told they would call next week or in specific days they didnt call or if I asked for a call back between certain times it would be always outside of this time that I never had proper contact after that first visit. Made me an appointment with a psychiatrist apparently but never told me where or when, after saying they would call me the next day or week to give the rest of the details. Just informed me that because they couldn't contact me despite me telling them the times I was available, they are no longer going to help. Thanks for nothing.

Friendly and welcome staff that put you at ease and help you in the best way they can. They really listen to your needs and make you feel safe and supported:)

I have loved my time with headspace hawthorn. The service, staff and facilities are all youth focused and so welcoming!

Poor service. Dont recomend anyone to go there. Imagine I wanted an appointment and a lady called Silvana wanted me to see another company.wow. Suggest see someone else and not them.

New psychologists here are very poor,
The layout of the clinic with gp and added services is a benefit though

Do not ever go here. The staff are poorly trained and very insensitive as well as very long wait times. I opened up for the first time about trauma in my childhood and against the confidentiality agreement, the lady I saw threatened me that if I didn’t tell my family about it she would call them and tell them. Left here feeling the lowest and most traumatised I had ever felt. Headspace has scared me for life, if you truly care for your children’s well-being do not ever send them here.
