This is the most unprofessional agency. They will do more damage than good. Please, avoid them at all cost.

Terrible customer service with HEAPS of attitude and poor listening skills. Staff Spoke over me reapeatly on the phone & were consistently belittling and made incorrect assumptions. Failed to return phone calls. Was given vastly different and conflicting infomation, causing me to miss out on attending a much needed program. When I asked to make a formal complaint, I was given the health commissioner phone number- I called them and was told they only deal with medical related compliants. I’m appalled and genuinely shocked at how consistently unprofessional Headspace Glenroy were to deal with.

I went here a couple times in 2013 and felt like I was just burdening the counselor with my problems because I wasn't getting any response from the psychologist - just kept writing things on a notepad; which is what you do but. Never shared her thoughts or suggestions; she just told me to do yoga. Do yoga? Still have not received a call back on my next appointment. My mum rang them heaps of times back then. No response. Thanks for making me feel worthless of help. It's one thing to stuff around people but don't do it to those with mental issues and when we finally have the courage to go get some help we are let down.

Headspace - I have read through your webpage and your facebook posts and you are all so excited about the programs and the work you do. Let me tell you about my venture with headspace which started in April / May of this year. To date my daughter has seen the psychologist 6 times - with very little progress - and we have been waiting for an appointment with a psychiatrist since the same time - I have had two cancellations in one week by headspace - two incorrect messages sent via phone. Considering you are dealing with mental health - shouldn't this part of the process be (the scheduling of patience in an orderly / efficient and correct manner) be the easiest part of the service? If you can't get this right what confidence so I have when a real appointment eventuates. Please don't tell me it's because there is limited funding. Professionalism of staff is not dependent on funding - sub standard facilitation of services is purely dependent on standards and procedures. Unfortunately I have not seen any evidence that these are in practice. I have had 3 appointments this week alone - two have been cancelled and one sent incorrectly. Not good enough
