I started seeing a psychologist through school in july as i couldn’t afford going private anymore.i didn’t expect it to be as good as going private but it’s amazing! They have so many services and online platforms too.i have general anxiety but mainly health anxiety and trauma issues relating to that and the psychologist i’ve been seeing for about 5 months is absolutely a life saver, i feel so comfortable talking to her and get a lot out of my sessions and i feel so much better.obviously everyone has different experiences but this is mine:)

I am so thankful to have access to Headspace Collingwood’s quality services, particularly during the worst of the pandemic. They have an amazing team of qualified professionals and I have never felt more supported before.

I disagree with the anon comment about this organisation. With a psychologist it really depends on the individual, and a level of understanding and connectivity between you and your psych - maybe you didn't find the right person for you. I wouldn't be so quick to judge a mental health service which is free. I've had good experiences here.

While the idea of free counselling for young people in need and who may not be able to afford the high prices of a psychologist, is great. The idea of this organisation is good but inside is a different story. I completely recommend other alternatives to this place, the counsellors are super insensitive and not understanding at all. In fact they even make you feel guilty and judged. After almost an entire year of attempting to give this place a go I'm done, would never step foot in here again, I was happier before coming.

After leaving high school and finding work at a local retail outlet I was relentlessly bullied by work colleagues who manipulated, controlled and managed to play "God" with my personal situation. After leaving work I noticed the toll it took on my mental health and well being ️Head Space has always been there for me and I hope more young people are able to find their voices and not be afraid to speak up
