Seriously the best hairdressers! My colour is always perfect and service is always top notch. Couldn’t recommend them enough! Always such care taken for my natural dark colour to make it blonde and healthy!

I love hbk and the team at hbk! My usual hairdresser is Steph and she is Super talented and absolutely wonderful. She is able to manage my unruly, curly hair and always takes care to not dry it out while maintaining the hair colour of my choice (even when choosing to go lighter). Steph takes the time to listen to my hair preferences and always achieves the colour and style I like. I prefer super ashy colours and she always tones to perfection. Steph is careful to always make notes on my file giving me the flexibility to book with anyone of the brilliant hbk team members and have the same hair results. Highly recommend Steph and the hbk team.

Visited HBK today for the first time and had apt for a cut and toner with James. James is a talented stylist who nailed the brief of cut & toner perfectly. I appreciated that he took the time at the start of my apt to consult and to offer his advice.
Loved what he did, I had curtain bangs cut in for the first time and James talked me through each step of how to style them myself when I was at home, he also suggested products which would enhance the style given my fine hair. Thanks James for a great experience, see you again soon.

I had a lovely experience on my first appointment at the salon with Merel. She was super professional and listened to what I wanted and really personalised the cut and products she used to my lifestyle and future goals for my hair. I also loved how she styled my hair with rollers. She is very talented, I will be back to the salon for sure. I also really liked the the design of the salon and the coffee was delicious!

Found their page on instagram and decided to give it a shot but unfortunately it was a very big disappointment, i had a full balayage done by Steph my hair extremely burnt and damaged and the colour is awful and nothing like what i asked, i showed pictures of what I wanted and they said it’s possible to achieve but afterwards when I mentioned it’s not what i asked they tried to get out of it by speaking about technicality, at that point there was no point to argue the damage was done and when i got home after one wash it looks worst! And my blow wave was done by James which was very aggressive and rough they definitely don’t have gentle hands at this place i came home with an horrible headache for all the hair pulling. Never visit again and don’t recommend. Extremely expensive very unprofessional place and people

I walked out looking exactly the same. Twice. The first time I thought maybe I wasn’t explicit enough so I gave them another shot, they mentioned my hair held colour so next time would be different because now we know. The second time, I got foils and my hair lightened SO MUCH, I was so excited for the end result. But once the tint went on, my hair literally went the same colour as I walked in with. Even though last time we learnt my hair held colour. It looked like I paid $400 for a wash. Wish I loved this salon, it’s stunning, but unfortunately, not with it.

Had a balayage with James - cannot recommend them enough! He really discussed the colour I wanted and didn’t chop too much off (a constant fear!)

HBK & Co.have been my hairdressers for the past few years now and I hand on heart cannot fault them. Each and every one of the talented and hardworking team here, have at some stage coloured, cut or blow dried my hair and each and every time I have been beyond happy. Special mention to James, he does the best blow waves! My hair looks amazing for a good week after James works his magic. It is worth nothing, I have read some reviews below about the prices being high and it is pretty simple, you pay for what you get. As a business owner myself, I know that there are so many expenses that go into running a service based business and their prices are that of what I would expect to pay. They are a salon that clearly takes pride in its staff, training/up skilling & providing their clients with a fantastic experience each and every time.

Love, love, love the team here at HBK & Co and highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a local, friendly, fun + talented hairdresser.

The team @ HBK are a well oiled machine, Megan is very thorough and precise, she takes the time to explain and educate which I really appreciate.

I called to ask the price of a long hair blow wave - $88. I dont know about everyone else but that is the priciest blow wave quote I've ever had. Ever. In all of Melbourne. Lady on the phone was nice but I won't be visiting the salon for that price.

Staff are attentive, friendly and amazing at what they do! I always leave feeling way better than when I came in.

Incredibly expensive and nowhere to park. Was quoted over $300 to cut and colour short hair. When I questioned why it was so expensive, I was told very rudely that that was the price and there was nothing I could do about it - except vote with my feet and walk out that is!

Cannot express how happy I am with my new hair! Thanks to the lovely Steph. Just got a balayage done on my dark virgin hair and I am in love and getting so many compliments. Steph has really studied my hair type before we do anything to it, doing patch tests, and it has paid off the result is beyond amazing. Thanks again for your outstanding work!

With over 10 yrs experience this is the best salon for the latest looks. Kate and her team are INcredible! I travel over half an hour and it’s always worth it! Hard to get an apt.for good reason book ahead ladies
