25 The most terrible service. Incompetent staff.
Horrible experience. Sad reality when you have staff that are receiving a wage but providing no service. No follow ups. No retention of details. No values or decency. Disgraceful. Stay away and find a Recruitment Agency that will treat with some basic respect.
Claire has been amazing and so supportive. She has gone above and beyond to support me and listen to me. She helps me realise my potential and is a truly wonderful person to work with.
These guys are a joke and I strongly suggest if you would like any form of customer service go elsewhere.
I was blown away by the complete lack of professionalism and dismissive attitude shown by a Senior Manager at Hays Geelong office. I thought working in the service industry you were taught to be respectful and courteous to your clients/customers but obviously in our ego driven, macho competitive world these attributes aren't required anymore. It is the second time in a number of years that I have been hung up on by this "Senior Manager".
After earlier telling him I would attend an interview later in the day I reflected on my situation and decided to call to say I wouldn't be attending because I was happy in my current position and the role didn't sound as suitable to my requirements. To this he responded in a dismissive manner like what I was doing couldn't have been better than the job he was offering me an interview for. I explained that the job being offered had the same title as the one I was doing and the new job wouldn't allow me the flexibility to continue my studies anyway which he apparently didn't like the tone of and hung up on me. Hays is a successful international company so I'm not sure how they let this person become a "Senior Manager" with such a poor attitude and lack of professionalism. I would advise others to steer clear of this ego driven, toxic individual!
I had a great experience with Hays Recruitment. Consultant is extremely approachable and capable to made the process of working as a contractor with a large company very streamlined and easy. I want to say special thanks to the consultant working for Hays.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hays Recruitment, to other contractors and job seekers.
