Haymes Paint Shop Sunshine

I'm not sure why people rave so much about Haymes paint. There's not really anything wrong with it. It has a bit more coverage than Dulux and is easier to apply, but I've had better results and finishes with Dulux. Haymes color matching still isn't quite there yet either, as we had some inconsistencies, and the range can't compare to dulux. Their ceiling and wall paints come out underwhelming (maybe this is just expectation). But as Haymes is a bit cheaper you can save money in comparison to Dulux, especially for large jobs.

Their enamel paints are amazing, woudln't use anything else, but they're quite glossy, for anything Matt or low sheen i'd go Dulux.

Haymes Paint is the last Australian owned, local paint manufacturer in Ballarat. I've been using it for years. The service is absolutely first class just like the products. I recommend Haymes Paint 100% Please support Australian manufacturers.

Went in a few weeks ago absolutely clueless on which paint to buy and was stoked at the service I received.
Ricky spent over an hour showing me various different paints - my house turned up a treat!

We have just finished renovating our rental property in sunshine, after going to another local paint store that didn't seem to interested in helping, we found Haymes paint in sunshine, nothing but helpful service and no question too hard, Rick had all the answers we needed to get the job done, from the Haymes expressions wall to the accessories with it. Will be back for out house in the future.

The Sunshine store staff (in particular Vikas) are friendly and helpful - their knowledge and guidance is first class.
I am also accessing the service of one of their home colour consultants who works with you to achieve the required result!

Terrible experience there not long ago, priced quite high in comparison. In store manager Rick or Ricky his name, totally unprofessional and absolutely no help!
