Extremely rude staff at the register. Staff not very friendly at all. Left there extremely disappointed.

Went there 2 days ago and prices have gone up so much due to Christmas tourists we are locals and think it's a take especially the cheeses not happy guys.

Came here purely for the hot chips after hearing about them. Feeling quite disappointed I really love hot chips but feel let down about these ones. For me they need to be a crunchy exterior and a soft interior. These hot chips which claim to be thrice cooked weren’t that. They tasted like they were cooked once and weren’t crunchy.
The homemade mayonnaise was also a disappointment, it was solid and had to use a chip to actually dig it out and barely it had any flavour.

Despite the disappointing hot chips and mayo, I highly recommend the lemon tart in the cafe. Best lemon tart I’ve had. I’d go back just for that!

Dropped in as I’d heard on the radio that Hawkes Farm were cooking some tasty triple fried chips.
As expected, the chips were delicious. Whilst they aren’t cheap, the portion size is generous.
The staff are very friendly and are keen to talk to the customers about how fresh the potatoes are (as this is a potato farm)

Lovely fresh local produce from Hawkes. We always stop in when we are nearby. Today we pick up some fresh heirloom tomatoes and basil for a salad to go with pasta and sauce from Island Pasta. Perfect dinner! Very much recommend the hot chips- so delicious!

I wish more farms did this. The option to buy direct or as close to direct from growers and producers is great.

The chips are not as great as everyone makes them out to be, set your expectations accordingly, and you will not be disappointed.
I think they could do with some amazing local seasonings or sauces or something to go with them, which would put them into the great category.
Just remember hot chips finish at 3 on weekends, so many people left disappointed for not reading the website and knowing this.

Words can't explain how good they are. The chips here are just super good. Maybe one of the best I ever eaten in my life. The surrounding envionment are also very nice and relaxing for both kids and adults. A nice place to chill out. A hidden gem located in the edge of Mornington Peninsula. Definitely will come back again.

First time we have been there. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Also a frozen fish van there with good range and prices

This place has adapted and changed with the times. It has truely established itself as the place to be. We used to buy potatoes out of the old shed using the honesty box system. Now we buy our fish, fresh fruit, vegetables etc, We usually pop in just for a coffee and a plate of their amazing chunky chips. Great place to go when visiting the Mornington Peninsula.

Good produce, friendly staff, good chips too. Best to go in quieter times as can get very busy and long queues particularly for chips

They had some of the best authentic hot chips we've ever had! Crispy and well salted with fluffy potatoes on the inside. There's not much else to say!

Worth the drive for sebago potatoes and fresh vegetables and jams can have coffee while your there and hot chips

Great place to get local produce in the Mornington peninsula. Always has very fresh vegetables and always something different each time I go. Seasonal vegetable seedlings and herbs are also available here.
There’s a good selection of local cheeses, oils and other small goods as well as a cafe that sells baked goods and coffee.
A chip shop outside provides hot snacks and there’s also a fish truck that parks there regularly that sells fresh fish and oysters.

A lovely farm shop with fresh produce. Also a hot food shop that smelt incredible. Paired with the large outdoor area and lovely farm views, a lovely place to visit!

Notice this has been improved again but the products are still very good and service also.

Hawkes farm is a highlight for the locals. You can buy a range of fresh vegetables here (as in you can see them growing over the fence). Better than the local markets, a lot fresher than the supermarket.

Best chips ever! So good I forgot the take a photo great play space for the kids and an awesome shop with great local produce!

Drove by and saw this farm. Attracted by the strawberry sign but didn’t get any. A vegetable store that you could get fruits and potatoes and veggies. Grab a coffee and a pastry if you are hungry.

Hawkes Farm has the best produce from the Mornington Peninsula all in one place. It is a family run business growing vegetables and strawberries on a 140 acre property.

On the weekends from 10am-3pm they serve their famous hand cut, triple cut, Hot Chips made with their own potatoes from the farm. They have that next level crunch, are the ideal thickness and served with either tomato sauce or their homemade mayonnaise. I make the call to say they are they best hot chips in Victoria! I was mindblown when I found out they are only $6, such a generous serving, perfect for 2 people. They are also Gluten Free.

The store is open daily 8am-5pm, fully stocked with fresh produce. Perfect for the kids as there are picnic tables, a sandpit and even a tractor. Keep an eye out for their next Open Day, where they have live music, tractor tours, the food truck, beer and wine.
