Haveli Heritage Indian Restaurant reviews
62Food is great, always good. The lady serving our table was very attentive and helpful. Great service great food everytime.
Excellent food and excellent service. The owner personally looked after our needs. The menu brings a lot variety and flavours!
Been going to this place (moved locations) since I was a baby and it is still my favourite! Try the aloo gobi
Visited here today and I must say that it is a disgrace to an Indian restaurant. The owner is really rude and had the audacity to argue when he was told that goat curry was too salty. Food was average and the quantity was not adequate. Would never ever visit them again, even if they offered free food. The owner needs to learn work ethics.
Haveli has been my go to Indian food for the past 35 years.
The food is amazing and the staff are welcoming!
Excellent food and superb hosts a must visit.
Very friendly hosts provide an enjoyable evening with their varied and authentic menu.
Had dinner here but highly disappointed. We ordered VEG PAKORA is half cooked and the CHICKEN BUTTER CREAM.can’t even explain.both the cream and butter were missing, It was like cooked chicken mixed in tomato pure? And the CHICKEN BIRYANI just taste like chilli rice 1star is not even worth rating I don’t know how people gave such good ratings. I’m seriously and highly disappointed with the food and the service as well. The OLD MAN (I THINK, THE OWNER) in the restaurant, He’s drinking ALCOHOL and serving the food to customers. I don’t consider this as a good behaviour. When a customer is coming to the restaurant the persons who’s present in the restaurant should be NEAT & CLEAN. THE GIRL IN THE RESTAURANT SPRAYED THE DISINFECTANT SPRAY WHERE THE CUSTOMERS ARE EATING. SHE LITERALLY SPRAYED IT NEAR MY FACEIT WAS HARD TO BREATHE FOR COUPLE OF MINUTES
The WORST Indian food i ever had in my life. If i had the option i wouldn't have given 1 star. The food hygiene is below average (we found a onion peel in the cooked chicken saag) and the quality of the food is pathetic. We ordered Tandoori Chicken which had a topping of strong saffron colour as soon as we had 1 piece of chicken we had the saffron colour all over our fingers. After washing it with soap multiple times the colour didnt come off. Wondering something wrong with the food, we put remaining chicken back in the fridge. The next morning the colour was still there which was really worrying as if the colour is so strong that it wont come off your skin, just imagine what harm it will do inside your body to your body organs. Now the worst part, when i called the restaurant the next day (restaurant closes at 10pm in the night and opens 5pm the next day) to complain about it, the owner 'Vijay' wasnt ready to listen and gave me all lame excuses about sometimes we receive different colours from different suppliers etc etc. I strictly warn people not to order from this restaurant as they will do anything to make the food look good so they can sell it and wont care about your health.
Just bought 2 dishes and mango lassi for take away.tandoori chicken and chilli chicken. Both dishes were average tasting. They use a lot of food colouring which did not leave our fingers for almost 2 days. They had added fridge ice cubes in the mango lassi and tasted odd
Great delicious food and service and warm ambience. Really extensive menu with many vegetarian options. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
I love this Restaurant we have followed this family for 30 years and the food is absolutely the best Indian food you will find. Lovely staff, clean, efficient service. Please support them you won't be sorry.
The dishes supplied are plentiful but the quality is disappointing. Particularly Onion Bhajis were very dark in colour and oozed oil (not crisp), cauliflower overcooked in Aloo Gobi and the Vindaloo disappointingly under spiced.
Love the chicken tikka and the garlic naans. Only ever ordered take away so not sure about the in house dining.
Ordered several dishes and my favourite was the chicken butter cream. Very creamy and sweet! Nice ambience and staff. The price for the dishes is very high compared to other Indian restaurants offering similar food quality!
This is the best Indian restaurant in Nunawading
With delicious food and drink. Nice place for family and friend
Lazzat Kofta - never heard of it before, tried first time and it turned out to be delicious. Must try for vegetarians
It was somewhat slow and the prices are high for fast food. But I don't think that's within the control of that specific location. Employees were pleasant enough.
Didn't like the food at all. If a restaurant can't make Maa ki Daal and Shahi Paneer well, then what else can they make anything better.
Awesome food, service & ambience. Delicacies for vegetarians as well.
