I have been here multiple times, I just love going in there to buy more electronic goods for my home. Great service and deals! Especially, this man Warren super helpful and knowledgeable the help you need is all covered. Thumbs up!

We live and work in Richmond and have always been looked after by a variety of people when we come in to buy everything from coffee machines to work computer’s and more recently toothbrushes and massage guns. We work in hospitality and believe in good old fashioned customer service; Anna G you are a breath of fresh air, amazing service, product knowledge and just an all-round nice person. Well done to you and more importantly Harvey Norman for employing you.

Anna from Harvey Norman Richmond was a delight to talk to about my efforts to buy a dusty green Smeg Kettle and Toaster. She explained the issues with Smeg supply chains which has seen stock become hard to get. Her honesty and authenticity will see me return to HN Richmond in future.

Its been 2 weeks since my new washing machine broke down and everytime I have called, Harvey Norman have said they said they will send me a number to call.which they have yet to do (4 phone calls in 2 weeks. It's becoming a joke. I thought Harvey Norman was meant to be a reputable business.

I had a frightful experience with Harvey Norman's online shopping.no product delivered, no explanation given and poor communication mechanisms. After several emails and chat sessions initiated by me, Harvey Norman's Richmond store reached out to me to explain why the product had not been delivered and saying they had no other stock available. They then offered me a full refund, which I accepted. The next day, Kingston, at the Richmond store, rang me back to say they had just received more stock and he offered to send it to me via courier the next day, free of delivery charge. I accepted his offer, though after the previous incident I remained a bit nervous about whether it would arrive. The day it was due to arrive, I had another call with Danny at the store, who told me they had given me an extra year's warranty on the product to try to make up for the inconvenience caused with the failure of the previous online order. In summary, the online order experience was a nightmare of non delivery and lack of effective communication processes. But the follow up by the Richmond Harvey Norman store was customer service gold standard. Kingston and Danny were fabulously helpful and courteous. I can't thank them enough. They acknowledged the failings of the previous order and gave me free delivery and an extended warranty by way of apology. Well done and thank you to you both. The dehumidifier arrived at midday, as promised. I have always bought my white goods at Harvey Norman stores because they offer good value and best price. But I'll never buy from them online again. If I need something, I'll go to their Richmond store.

Just straight up rude, disinterested staff.once you do finally get their attention they're too busy trying to up-sell you rather than cater to your needs.

Choose another Harvey Norman location.

I recently enquired about a premium fridge at this store, and when I asked their fridge specialist if he could help me out a little on the price, he refused unless I was buying them in bulk! So, instead, I took my money and bought that fridge for $300 cheaper and with free delivery included (compared to Harvey Norman’s $150 delivery fee) at E&S. It pays to do your research, people.

I was in need of a washing machine in very short notice. Craig, Helen & the team at Harvey Norman Richmond went above and beyond to cater my needs. All staff you can easily tell are sound professionals and gave myself the best advice as to what I should purchase. Would highly recommend - and will definitely return!

Attempted to purchase a washing machine from Harvey Norman. Customer service assistant was beyond rude and extremely unhelpful, with clearly no training nor customer service abilities. They kept directing us to the online bot which kept disconnecting us. Very disappointed

I live in Queensland and had to make several purchases for my elderly parents in Kew, of washing machine, dryer and microwave. Helen went massively above and beyond, sending photos, written quotes and product information. Helen organised the best quote on products, installation and delivery. Couldn't have done it without her and my parents and their carers are delighted as my family is.

Ensure you are versed in the returns policy as Harvey Norman Richmond will not offer a refund or exchange on high purchased items when the item sold to you over the phone dose not do what you specifically asked for.
Also be aware the returns policy on the website does not detail specific returns which is used against you. The store manager is rude and argumentative and happy for the issue not to be resolved. Rest assured I will not be purchasing any further form Harvey Norman Richmond.

I have a great experience every time I go here. I generally always ask for my main sales guy, Shane. He knows his stuff back to front and always provides 11/10 service.
