Very, very happy with the service I've received from Paul in sales.so helpful and followed up to make sure I was happy. The gentleman answering the phone was nice too as were the delivery guys. Overall great experience.

A huge kudos to the sales consultant Moe! Super friendly, knowledgeable and proactive. We experienced a tedious process due to tech issue, but Moe tried his very best to support us through this process and give us the best offer.

Spent 10 mins in a few aisles looking at specific products, and no one bothered to ask 'how may I help you today'. 2 sales people walked past me, ignoring me as if I wasn't even there. This was at a quiet time when the number of customers was far less than the staff present. When I asked for help, a disinterested salesman agreed and 'showed' me some items like reading the PowerPoint. I am so glad there are other shops around this area.

Harvey Norman Fountain Gate Flooring sold me a faulty product
Novocore Premium Hybrid Flooring
Colour fades, flooring boards peel and shrink.
The manger and their professional installer came and checked the flooring at my house and the professional installer admitted the flooring is faulty and need to be replaced. The following day the manger rang me and said it is gonna cost a lot of money and he can't afford to do it unless I pay half the cost. When I refused because it is in the warranty, he said he won't fix it.
Consumer Affairs and ACCC advised me to go to VCAT
Harvey Norman-Head Office in Sydney doesn't not have any authority on any stores.
Harvey Norman doesn't honour Thier warranty.
WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME

The store itself is perfectly fine, however, they use a layout style where the products are all out on display, but a staff member has to fetch the product for you to actually buy. This would be fine, except they never roster anywhere near enough staff for peak periods. I have been to their store, looked at a product, and ordered it online instead because I literally couldnt get someone to help.

Purchased a dishwasher and oven yesterday and walked out happy customers!
We had Bailey looking after us and we were nothing less than impressed! Bailey was professional, knew what she was talking about, wasn’t one bit pushy and an absolute pleasure.
If you go to Harvey Norman, find Bailey, highly recommend

Chris owns the franchise at HN in Fountain Gate. I must admit to going shopping there with my wife with no intent to buy. Just taking a look, comparing prices etc. 5K later I am so happy I met Chris. He was knowledgeable, ensured that we purchased only what we needed. I phoned a mate in the game, and he was blown away by the offer that had been placed on the table.
Chris even went to Dandenong for us to pick up 1 of our items.

Today during a flat out day I walked in to check on a gopro, Chris was able to steer me towards the best offer again, and made heaps of time for me despite having demands on his time from every direction. Boxing day.

I have become a fan of HN for the first time in about a decade.

Variety however service is a bit overbearing, you speak to one then another one comes along, like they are bored. Prices reasonable and competitive dependant on what you want

Went in on Thursday night close to closing time and a staff member came over to me and said"let's make it quick. " (Hope he doesn't say that to his wife). I didn't realise how close it was to closing time till I asked why. He was pushy and was trying to get a sale in 5 minutes. I was not impressed with his service so I said I would be back the next day. When I went back on Friday he came straight over and asked if I needed help and I said "not from you". I don't think he recognised me from the night before. He kept hovering. When I decided what I wanted to buy I found another staff member "Naweeda", he was very helpful and friendly. After getting my laptop went to the checkout to pay and the girl ("Asingh") was on her mobile phone. My husband was finding gift cards on his phone and she kept texting/playing on her phone. I thought this was very rude. How hard is it to pay attention to a paying customer? Overall I was disappointed with the service from 2 of the 3 staff members I interacted with. Not in a hurry to go back

Shop was neat and tidy outside and pleasing to see it was neat and tidy on the inside too.
We attended with a particular item in mond to purchase but wanted to see if it was what we really wanted as the online product listing covered most of the points.
When we got to the section we were greeted by a very pleasant and professional team member or maybe by how he spoke a professional manager.
We explained our needs and he informed us that they had not carried that item for some time now. We explained our situation and what we had read online and his response was it should not be listed online as they do not stock the item in any store.
He was apologetic but alas unable to assist us this time.
My only issue is why do so many companies not keep there online profiles up to date.
Poor management to lure people in under false expectations.
Poor job Harvery Norman Poor Business Acumen.

Bought a Lenova laptop 4 months ago, there is something wrong with it, Harvey Norman in stead of taking care of it, refer me to 3rd party seller or ask me to leave the laptop for 2 weeks so they can send it to lenova and they assess it. When I said to the manager that I have recorded the fault he just walk away

Twelve weeks waiting for a lounge. Rang two weeks ago to see how it is going delivery date 8th. Rang today oh no it might be this week. When questioned as to what l was was told. Oh that would mean the week of not the day. We will ring you if it comes in. We will wait and see.
