Harvey Norman Ballarat

Purchased a leather couch ($4500), which started deteriorating within a few months. Told that it was because of body oils. Have always had leather and never had this happen. Sub quality. Harvey Norman would not replace or repair. Will never purchase from there again.

My brother and his partner brought a new TV for our Mum for her birthday next month. Thanks lil bro.

Approachable and knowledgeable staff in both departments.
We purchased a television, power board with usb ports and surge protection and Pillow. The staff in both bedding and electrical were helpful, didn’t try to upsell at all and asked what we needed and suggested best value for money. Have been many times and will return many times again.

Looking for their prices on split system air-conditioning 'not as cheap as good guys so bought off good guys

We bought almost all of our new home's furniture from HN Ballarat. We were lucky to meet Katie and would recommend her to anyone looking for furniture as she is an experienced and caring staff member. There were items that we couldn't find in the store but she went out of her way to source it from another HN stores and made sure that the items were delivered quickly and safely. I could not recommend Katie and HN Ballarat enough.

Very inconsiderate customer service. On their phones and lazy sitting down rather than helping. Was pointed in directions multiple times without being shown where to go.

I can't comment on other locations, but here I had a much better experience at Harvey Norman than at Good Guys who were (and still are) an absolute nightmare.

Went in to buy a new TV remote walked out with the remote and a new vacuum cleaner. Hayley was wonderful very helpful and knowledgeable.

The worst customer service! I needed help with a photo print order and received no help, they wouldn’t refund me either even though I couldn’t get my order in time and had no need for it at a later date. Will never support or recommend them at all!

The 2 young lady's were very helpful and the one in computers was great the male in computers was not I was going to Walk out cos of him but the young girl where the air purifiers are was great and told me to see the lady in computers was fantastic

Really good customer service! Is was only a few minutes after we walked in that a salesperson greeted us and asked if we needed help with anything.

I returned a product that had stopped working just before its warranty period had expired. I still had the original box it came in and the purchase receipt proving I had purchased it from Harvey Norman. I explained it had just stopped working and the staff member simply replaced it with a new one. Very satisfied customer.

Lots to look at and the girl that served us was so helpful and went out of her way to accomadate us.

Recently purchased a new computer from here. The sales lady was fantastic to deal with and very friendly.

Only problem I had was the outrageous price to update RAM. To put in two lots of RAM takes about 1 minute (2 at most), yet I was charged $49.01 each! (Just for fitting). That's almost $100 per minute or $6000 per hour.
If you don't like being ripped off, buy the parts and install them yourself, I would have if I had known the excessive charges involved.

Apart from that, great service, fast, easy to deal with, knowledgeable.would buy there again, but never get the parts installed.

After visiting many stores and shops today to begin buying appliances and furniture for my new home I can honestly say this was the lowlight of the day. All other stores were friendly and helpful.

Not at Harvey Norman. The only positive thing was the almost empty car park. No welcoming atmosphere, staff who literally turns their head to avoid having to say hi, VERY inexperienced floor staff who literally asked me the same question three times in a row. Very low product knowledge.

Very negative experience with zero feeling of being welcome, no interest in selling or assisting. I’ll take my business to the many other stores in the area.

My recent experiences with Harvey Norman have been nothing less than incredible. I brought an electric recliner chair for $1300 in September 2021 and in January 2022, I found that it was broken. Tia of Harvey Norman Ballarat was very quick and prompt to supply me with a new chair. Within two weeks later, that chair had also broke. Tia of Harvey Norman Ballarat has arranged for me to not only have a new chair, but one worth 3 times of that I had originally spent. Now I have a far superior recliner chair for only a fraction more than I originally paid.
I found Tia and the team at Harvey Norman Ballarat to be very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I felt that my satisfaction was their number 1 priority.
