Dealt with a lot of tackle shops in my time, but I have to say I have never come across more genuine and sincere guys. They are more intrested in informing you about what you are looking for to meet your needs rather than being pushy salespeople. Lucas and the crew at hartley's are second to none. Very pleased with the baitcaster combo I've been set up with, looking forward to some great day's of fishing with it. Do yourself a favor and drop in to hartley's. You won't be disappointed.

Great hunting fishing store, packed full of gear for fishing and hunting and ammunition happy hunting / fishing also bought my first gun here back when I was 18 a model 94 Winchester lever action still going strong

Never been here before but was there to look at a rifle and its a neat little shop. Lots of good fishing gear especially cod gear. A good selection of firearms not just the usual wall full of tikkas. Best of all the place is accessible with great parking unlike a lot of stores like this who need to find the most hidden spot they can. Competitive prices

A locally owned and run business, with a vast knowledge base, the spot to go to for everything fishing and hunting.

I visited the store yesterday with a unusual rifle problem. A. 22 bullet had become firmly stuck in the barrel and I couldn't dislodge it.
Two staff members had the correct equipment and solved the issue in 10 minutes. All done in good humour!

Hartley's is a bit of a Bendigo institution, in that they've been in the industry for a very long time, and it shows with their range, experience, and helpfulness when it comes to anything hunting, fishing, firearm or archery related. I've always had excellent service and found anything I need is either on shelf or readily ordered. Highly recommended.

I was sold something through their eBay store apparently setup by the owners son, who has since moved on from the business. I have tried to get my money back on a product that was never sent to me for over a year now.

You do have an eBay store. It is still online, and has done 44 transactions since 2016. As the new business owner you should clean up the mess.not just dismiss it everytime I've tried to sort it out. It surely wouldn't be that difficult to get the logins and refund the purchases that were not sent out.

I getting back into fox and rabbit shooting have needed ammo and got a New second hand rifle they have been more then helpful I highly recommend them thanks boy's àt the Shop for your help

Very helpful and informative especially for an inexperienced person who is starting out. Staff were able to explain the products, how they work, differences in brands. Very helpful and friendly and no question was a stupid question. Great shopping experience.

I am a bow shooter and I have brought all my Arrows from them they have great customer service, but I think they should have more bows and bow accessories on display.

Great store and good range. Only thing I'd say needs improvment is the website. Put prices on new fire arms instead of just $POA on everything. Putting POA on everything just puts across the whole "we're goin to hard sell you" factor and many people just move on. And put up photos of the used firearms. Lets us see what we're interested in.

Can't comment on all aspects of the store, but Rob in the archery dept is fantastic, and always treats my kids needs as seriously as those of a seasoned Archer.
