Harleston Park

A lovely green spot for a picnic.
It even has a bubbly stream flowing through part of it which is wonderful for children to play and paddle!

The playground is great. The artificial creek is wonderful. The toilets are a mess - take hand sanitiser, tissues and baby wipes. Don’t book for a party here - the park is overrun by pigeons that attack for food. You have to constantly guard your food and it’s not a relaxing experience.

Lovely park. Very relaxed with plenty of shade and lots for the kids to explore. The water play creek is excellent, especially in summer.

Fantastic park! Picnic tables, BBQ facilities, excellent play equipment and sensory play including water play too!
Public toilets also there.
Perfect park. Will be back!

Nice park that caters to a variety of ages and interests. The water feature and the big slide are always a hit. Nice little basketball half court for older kids. It's not fenced in really at all and a bit of construction to the side at the moment, so that knocks a star off.

Very cool park. Nice for a picnic with the kids. It's little but has lots of places to settle into with its nice friendly and welcoming vibe. There are two undercover barbecue areas and electric plated barbecues. There's a D shaped basketball court with surrounding bench seats. Its nestled at the bottom of a grassy knoll which is nicely landscaped with one large and one small slide. It has a sand pit area with climbing activities and swings. Most importantly there are clean toilets available. It's also only a minute drive from Coles Supermarket and the Elsternwick shopping precinct.

This is one of the best playgrounds in Melbourne. It's amazingly hard to get kids to leave this place. They just keep wanting to play in the creek here.

The most beautiful small park ever. Picnic under the trees or at the tables. Everyone is catered for. It helped that the weather was perfect for catching up with friends.

Beautiful park, a natural haven amongst the suburb of elsternwick. Alongside the most beautiful street in the suburb, harleston park is a joy for birdwatchers and park enthusiasts. There are beautiful rosellas, Lorikeets and Indian miners to be found within the trees and shrubbery. With gorgeous rapids and fun equipment to play on. Harleston is a beautiful park

Great park! We had a relaxing picnic on a beautiful day in the park. Which is in beautiful Elsternwick.

Beautiful park, with so many options for kids. And a beautiful small river and rocks kids love climbing on it and walking.
Sometimes can be heavily crowded which makes it hard to supervise your kids.

The benches are under cover and are nice for picnics. The creek is also very delightful. The new playground is good with kids.

A great park for all ages. There is an array of different play spaces with a range of challenge levels including swings, a basketball court and plenty of benches and tables for picnics. Plus there is a fabulous slide.

The Booran Reserve provides a great place for people to relax and play.

Families with kids looking for an awesome place where their children can play with great playground equipment such as slides, swings, roped climbing structures and a running stream of water that young and old alike will definitely find entertaining - bring spare clothes for your young ones!

The reserve also has lots of space to hold parties. There are tables with benches around plus bbq facilities. It is also good that the council has put in toilet facilities for guests to use - I think this should be a standard for reserves especially when you have kids who want to make a toilet run.

Bring with you your basketball, your mates and have a good pick-up game of basketball because this reserve has a half-court!

Parking can be a bit crowded on a good day which is understandable given how beautifully made this reserve is. But street parking around the area is good and a good short walk won't hurt anyone.

Great space for young and older kids with plenty of equipment. I especially like the creek. My 9yr old didn't stop for hours. For the adults - plenty of shaded tables with lots of nooks for groups to congregate.
