We’ve only been at the centre for a few weeks but cannot speak highly enough about all the staff here.
They welcomed our child who has additional needs with loving and caring open arms. Management is exceptional always goes up and beyond with the biggest smile.

Our little had been going here for 2 years before recently moving onto primary and we can't rate the whole YMCA team highly enough. They've always been very supportive and caring and it was extremely sad to leave, out little one still talks fondly of her old school very time we drive past it.

Our 8 month old son has been at YMCA for less than a week and the support, love, patience and care from the YMCA team is second to none.

Thank you!

Our 3 year old son has been at the YMCA since he was 10months. We find the centre a very supportive environment. The educators all take great interest in him and our family. The manager was incredibly supportive during covid lockdowns, easing our stressors greatly.

When choosing a day care centre for our daughter I visited multiple centres within a few km's of home and came so close to deciding on one however I still had this feeling that something wasn't right and it wasn't 'the one'. Out of the blue I called what we last new it as 'Happy Days' and met with Jo within the hour. From the time I walked in I knew this was the one for us. I am so glad I listened to my gut instincts, made the call and enrolled her. The team are beautiful, warm and welcoming. Being that it's our first time with a child in day care they are very assuring, patient and clearly love what they do. I believe staff turn over is also low as a few of our family members children have also been here and the some of the same staff are there 8+ years on. Thank you ladies.

Great staff, and my children love it there. Sometimes they don't even want to come back home.

My children have attending Happy Days for the past few years. The staff have been so fantastic and it’s such a friendly place. They have really made us feel like family.

We are so lucky to have found Happy Days after visiting several centres. As soon as we walked in and met with Jo we knew it was the best fit for our son. Over 2 years our son has enjoyed his time with his educators, the whole team are lovely, thoughtful and nothing is to much trouble. There is no doubt my son is ready to take the next step into school, a huge thank you to Jo and the team at Happy Days, you all have helped our son achieve his goals. We are forever grateful

I have had two children go to this centre for many years, one who has just started school and the other in the toddler room.
I have nothing but great things to say about the centre and the staff.
My oldest has asthma and would flare up seasonally or if she was unwell.
Before putting her into happy days at 12 months of age I had her in a different child care centre and she was regularly falling sick due to the lack of cleanliness and snotty kids that are clearly unwell!
Had trialed two other child care centres before finding happy days and the same scenario!
Once she started at happy days she hardly ever fell sick. She enjoyed going every day.
The hygiene standards are expeptional.
The children have a great viariety of fun and educational activities for their different age levels. The staff are always happy, friendly and amazing with all the children.
The big five from this happy mum!

My two year old son has been attending ‘Happy Days’ child care in Narre Warren South, Mondays and Fridays for orientation prior to officially scheduled to start on the 29th of Jan 2018.

Today I witnessed an incident that made me uneasy and very concerned for my child’s safety. It was enough for me to make the decision to never allow my son to attend this centre again.

I dropped my son off and I thought I would stick around a little further away to see if he would get upset. So while he was playing outside on the slide, my son decided he didn’t want to share or take turns on the slide with other children which I believe is normal behaviour for a 2 year old and for an only child (up until very recently). It is something we are focusing on and the centre was made aware of this. As early childhood educators, I expect them to have the qualifications and expertise to deal with situations like this appropriately and teach them the right way, instead an employee or “child care worker” if you want to call her that, named Pat decided that she had the right to aggressively yank my son by the wrist twice really hard so that’d he’d move and let the other children have a turn. She left redness around my son’s wrist. I witnessed the injury to my son’s wrist as well as the entire incident with my own two eyes! The employee obviously didn't know I was watching her behaviour but once she saw me she quickly moved away from my child and left him.

I then reported the incident to the manager and explained exactly what I saw and what happened. The manager spoke with Pat, who blatantly lied and said she took the action she took because she thought my son was going to pull another child down the slide. This is a disgrace and an absolute lie! The centre can check their cameras for themselves.
