Haoziwei Sichuan Restaurant

Food is super good. Once you try it, you can't stop. Boss is kind. Service is good. Price is reasonable. I've tried may Sichuan restaurants in Melbourne and this one is my favourate.

Really bad customer service. Do not get takeaway, they take priority dine in customers. Waited a hour for 3 dishes. Taste is not as good as it’s used to be as well

The attitude of the restaurant waiters is extremely bad! I arrived at the restaurant at 8 o'clock. The business hours displayed on the door of the restaurant were until 9 o'clock. When I arrived, there were still many seats in the restaurant, and many diners were leaving after eating. However, after I told the waiter that I did not have a reservation, he Very rudely told me it was closed. I don't quite understand how you can dine if you make a reservation, but turn people away without even giving them a chance to wait for a table, even though there is still a lot of time to dine. Very poor experience!

Highly recommended if you like hot food, the food is fantastic and fresh, the service is fantastic only negative is they need more english speaking staff, I will recommend this place to anyone who loves try try new food and can handle a bit of heat.

It says it closes at 9 o'clock, but when I arrived a little after 8 o'clock, I stopped picking up. It's really outrageous.

Food always excellent, love this place so much. Would be better if they have somebody who speak and understand english fluently for phone order.

Authentic Sichuan taste, cheap price and large servings. Every time you finish your meal, you will get a package. Special dishes are recommended, but the serving is a bit slow, which is understandable because there are a lot of customers

love it when i don’t feel up to cooking.what makes this place special is that they did not australianize the recipe/ food.just how i would expect real chinese dishes to be like!

Walked in off the street & we were seated straight away. The food was absolutely delicious & the service was fast & friendly.
Bigger groups should make a booking, having said that I think we were lucky to get a table for 2.

Delicious. Chongqing chicken was perfect. On the bone and spicy. We also got the beef with pickle which had a milder chilli kick and very fragrant. Not sure what the pickled greens were but. Nom Nom Nom

Recommended by Chinese friend, they said it’s best Sichuan restaurant. After I tried, I agree. We ordered 3 dishes. All of them are so delicious.

This is the first time we went there for dinner after HaoZiWei reopen. It was a great experience. All the dishes were very delicious. Worth a try! 喜欢吃川菜的朋友值得一试，非常地道正宗，而且分量特别大

Great Sichuan restaurant, lots of traditional dishes from the Provence and Frog Legs which are hard to find.

Bean sprouts In the special fried rice make the whole thing taste like dirt.

Get rid of them - like oily worms in the rice

People who said it’s expensive, you should stay home and cook instant noodle for yourself. This is absolutely reasonable price for daily dinner and authentic Sichuan Cuisine, so delicious

It’s just 6/10 sichuan food in a 2/10 eating environment. Anyone that says it’s better than is mistaken.
But 1 star cuz we were asked to eat faster because she needed to seat more people for more money. What can I say?

Our favourite Sichuan place in Melbourne! Such a shame that their lease is up / final day is on 15/05/2022.

Thought I'd leave a review prior to them closing indefinitely.

Food is generally always consistent and 5/5 - the BBQ fish, pickled coriander stir fry beef, chilli chicken and I could go on.

When they close this Sunday, it'll definitely be a void when it comes to eat out options in Melbourne for Sichuan food.

They refused to serve us after we spending one hour to get there. It was only 1: 45pm, still has more than one hour to go to close. Very disappointed! 花了一个小时才到，然后吃了闭门羹，明明还有一个多小时才关门，差评！

It used to be one of my favourite Chinese restaurants, I doubt that the owner has changed. The food quality decreased significantly, and the service was A LOT WORSE than before.
