I'm thrilled we finally have a good Japanese restaurant out west! We had the all you can eat bbq, which was fantastic value! I can't wait to go back to try a bowl of ramen

Delicious foods and nice atmosphere. I came here many time for A la carte. I ordered Buta Kakuni don and takoyaki.it was absolutely amazing. I will try Bbq next time. Highly recommend everyone

Worst all you can eat experience ever. Went with a group of 5 and had the bbq option. Takes a long time to cook because the fire keeps getting smaller and smaller. Asked the staff to change the bbq gas bottles 4 times just to have a higher fire. Because of this, it took us a long time to cook any meat. Also, staff made us grill on baking paper and asked us to change when we need to. Every time we asked to change the baking paper, it gets smaller and smaller making it hard to cook lots of neat for a group of people. So small baking paper combined with the meat taking a long time to cook was not a very good experience to dine in. Seating was only for 1.5hrs. It was the first time going to an all you can eat where the seating time runs out and you are not full. Fried chicken comes out faster than the cooked meat if you can't be bothered waiting fot the BBQ.

Excellent food and service. Everything was so balanced. Impressed from the beginning. When you want the salad dressing recipe - you know everything is on point! All you can eat for under $40 delicious marinated meat and more, BYO is only $4! Will definitely return. Can't believe it's not packed!

Honestly, This place is a hidden gem!

The premium all you can eat set is great value for what you get. The chicken karage was really juicy and the marinated short ribs were surprising flavourful.

Food was really nice. However, they are under staffed, slow to service and forgot to table multiple menu items.
I got a 10% discount because of missing dishes. Appreciated, but that shouldn't happen at a BBQ style restaurant.

Had the Ultimate menu special last night with my son for a belated birthday catch up. He's a massive unit and eats like two people and together we seriously struggled to get through all the food. Awesome saucesome fun cooking it together, the staff were really attentive, making sure to change over the grill covers, added the beer special for an extra $20 glasses replenished straight away. Highly recommend it for a group fun night out if you want some fun and know how to cook on grill top.

I had one of the worst experience ever.
Me and my family went there for dinner and it was so cold we had to ask three times to turn the air conditioner down.food was absolutely disgusting, the dumplings were burnt, food was all frozen and everything had no flavor at all. In the California roll there was no salmon and one of the staff was dividing flour in the middle of the service floor, everything was not up to commercial standard

Wagyu was very very thin and a lot of fat, meat was very hard and everything was marinated with a very very strong seeet and sour sauce very overpowering! Honest opinion is not worth the price! Sorry guys!

My wife and I stumbled across this place by accident and I don't regret eating here. The salmon don was delicious, the salmon was cooked perfectly, I also had the wagyu as a tapas, the meat was soft and juicy. I definitely will be coming back here.

Had a dinner with friends last night. This 5 stars rating is for their friendly staff, excellent atmosphere and affordable prices. Only 39/pp is absolutely valuable for everyone of us.

Excellent value! I was originally apprehensive when I read the other reviews, especially since I was going for a date.

We ordered the $39pp Japanese BBQ set, with an add on of $20pp for unlimited sapporo tap beer for 90min. This gave us UNLIMITED meats, and sides (and beer, of course) for $59pp. They asked us more than 3 times if we wanted more meat or anything else. The service was great and they gave us space to enjoy our food while never being too far. The young lady helped change our BBQ paper a few times when needed.

There's clearly been an improvement in service since some of the last reviews.

The place is very clean.

Food and beers are solid.

This is a great spot for dates, family, young kids and groups! I'd be comfortable eating alone here too.

Firstly, the food taste is nice, including the cooked food and marinated ingredients for BBQ. We would recommend their Japanese fried chicken and tofu.

However, their service is quite disappointed. We ordered the $69/pp all you can eat BBQ set, and it has 1.5 hours order limitation. In the beginning, they have served us miso soup and steamed peas, but after that, it took around another 15 mins to wait for the next food dishes, not even mentioned that we have to ask for our food.

The manager lady explained that they want to display the whole set meat at same time, and this is acceptable, we understand whole set displaying makes the table more attractive. But the problem is that, your menu showed us the set is all you can eat, but every time after we ordered meat plate or seafood plate, it took long time to wait or even been "forgotten" and we have to ordered again.

And the most disappointed thing is that we have three people, and the last order for the seafood plate, they even cut off the squid dish and one of scallops (only give us two serve, see the photo below).

Yesterday was my friend's birthday, and we did have not good experience for theor service.

Food was good but service was pretty low, only 2 staffs so they were busy when I needed help or re-order, it was okay normally but we only had 90 mins to order so it should be improved.

Great food and friendly service. Quality of food is great, the grilling bbq is too slow though, doesn't bbq properly or give it that nice char, it does take a little patience but overall is very tasty for the price

Food was not bad, was let down by the service. (A-la-carte) They kept stuffing up our order with no apology. Staff weren't familiar with the menu, asked twice for water, followed up on missing dishes at the end of our dining, to be told one of its sold out and the other is still on its way. So we had to wait 1.5 hours to be told that? Ok not that big of a deal, We ordered a different meat dish, and opted to continue to wait for the sushi to come out. Waited another 30 minutes, followed up again only to be told the replacement is also sold out and the sushi is still coming. You can't expect customers to wait 2 hours for a sushi dish, and only told an order is sold out, TWICE, when asked. Staff didn't even admit they stuffed up our order and casually just replied our items are sold out with no consideration we waited 2 hours for them. If we didn't follow up who knows how long we would have sat in the restaurant waiting.

Hard pass.

The food is delicious and excellent value for money. The service was a little slow to start but I got the feeling that isn't normally the case.

Will definitely be back.

Really good food!
Super fresh meat and good sides. Found the sauces complimented the meat well. Staff was lovely. Will be back again
