Born in Hanoi and as a food lover, this is the best Hanoi pho I’ve ever had in AU. And it’s comparable to the best ones in Hanoi frankly to say. It’s not easy to find authentic Hanoi Pho in AU. Been back & back countless times & the only Pho place that I go to since the discovery of it

Some of the freshest and loveliest tasting Pho I’ve ever had. Will be my go to from now on.

Delicious Hanoi style pho - fragrant, flavourful broth that feels nourishing and is very easy to drink.

More herbal flavour than the southern style pho which is the way we like it.

This places sets the bar for good pho and they hold themselves to high standards - I’d highly recommend it and will definitely be coming again.

They may be right……
BEST pho in Melbourne.
The Chinese dounuts were a great addition to what was a fantastic beef Pho.
Full of flavour
No extra sauce required

Absolutely beautiful. I've only tried one dish, but I can confidently call it: what they say about being Melbourne's best is highly likely. I'll be back on repeated occasions!

Had: Beef & Beef Ball Pho

A hidden gem in Preston! Absolutely delicious pho, with fragrant broth.

Flavours are different to the pho available at the other well known restaurants on High St which we usually frequent. This restaurant doesn't use MSG to flavour the broth, but it's equally delicious and you don't leave feeling super thirsty and heavy. The generous serving of herbs on top makes a big difference too.

We loved that you could add on additional elements, like fried bread sticks, tofu, extra noodles, etc.

I'll definitely be back for more!
If you love pho, definitely give this place a try.

Without a doubt the best pho I’ve ever had in Melbourne. As good as any pho I’ve had in Hanoi. Very friendly staff too.

Yuuuuuuuum! We went here for the first time today - absolutely fabulous. Totally our new spot over our regular high street pho joints. The veggie broth + tofu pho was really delicious and the others said the rare beef was also the best they've had in a long time. Super crunchy and yum veggie spring rolls, and the amazing coffee was absolute crack (also the best we've had in ages). And to top it off the staff were lovely:)

I don't know about the Pho but the fried rice was a flop. Took too long to serve it as well. I like the ambience and the lady greeted me with a pure smile. I'm sorry to be giving 3 stars

Pho is second to none, best i can remember outside of Hanoi:) really deliberate and authentic menu, and attention to detail in the garnishes and condiments. They know what they're about-heart warming, soul affirming broth! Interesting pho history on their tv screen if you sit in to enjoy. No loss of quality takeaway though. A hidden gem, not as busy as it deserves to be

Born and raised in Northern Vietnam, I can confirm that this is amongst the most authentic northern Vietnamese pho joints in Melbourne. I go here every time I feel home sick

Closest thing to Hanoi that I've tasted outside of Hanoi. The broth is truly slow cooked bone and spices. You can't fake that silky mouthfeel and unmistakeable depth of flavour. Is this the best pho in Melbourne? Like anyone can know that. But probably.

Really delicious chicken pho, lots of yummy herbs. The spring rolls are so yummy as well. And I also like the tofu salad. Tea is delicious while you wait for takeaway

It really is Melbourne’s best… Not many vegetarian options but the vegan pho salad was excellent. Love the homage to northern Vietnam’s pure original pho. Great customer service and complimentary tea!

I've been to a few pho-only restaurants around Richmond, Footscray and Springvale and I know it can be subjective, however, personally, this is one of the best pho I've had in Melbourne. The broth is really delicious with fresh, clean flavours and no added MSG. You can taste the love and attention to detail that goes into each bowl. Always served with a smile and lots of pride in their dishes. It's our weekly go-to! Highly recommend giving it a try!

I'm sorry.definitely not best pho in Melbourne or even Preston. $20 for pho dac bit and doesn't have hardly any of the Traditional ingredients. Partner ordered pho with chicken thigh. 3 tiny strips. Broth nice.but way over priced.

Noddles were yummy. Smell not good as you enter the premises. It's because of shrimp paste used in cooking. Thats normal. But the food is very good.

Noticed a splash of colours on Cramer St so decided to check it out for lunch. Hanoi Pho mainly serves beef/chicken/tofu pho, spring rolls or fried rice, so we ordered 1 x rare beef and 1 x rare beef with beef balls. We also ordered 1 x Vietnamese iced coffee and 1 x soft drink can (they only sell zero sugar options).

$16 for a standard size bowl, no different size options. Be aware that the pho is not your typical southern VN style. I would've liked to see less spring onion and less broth. I had to move up the pieces of meat before taking the photo as it was drowning underneath. Food came out piping hot, so that was a bonus.

Order and pay at the counter and they accept card which was good. Self service station provides fresh chilli, lemon, tea and homemade dipping sauces.

Unfortunately not the best pho in Melbourne as per the signage on the window but worth checking out if you're in Preston and want to try something new.
