Hallam Community Centre Inc. reviews
9Our children went to this place and they have good memories there.it's properly run by the people and it seems they're doing well.
If you're not enough rich so don't let your kids to go there,
Because they respect you just because of your money not yourself and your kids.
And yeah staff is rude as helll
Never recommend and never never
I can't speak highly enough of the educators at Hallam CLC. My son began at another pre-kinder at the beginning of the year and after a rough start I transferred him to Hallam CLC. Best decision I made. There he was greeted with a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment where his curiosity and energy was encouraged. The educators made us feel so welcome and my son absolutely loved attending. Within the 3 year old program he had so much to do and play with, and was obsessed with the huge outdoor area. I can't believe how quickly the year came to an end and if there was a 4 year old kinder program I absolutely would be enrolling him.
During this year one of my children was unwell so my son was not attending the program for a little while. One of the educators took the time to call to check in and see how we were going and after hearing about our tough time, offered to babysit all of my kids so I could have a break. It was the most lovely and supportive gesture I think I've ever received and just goes to show how much the educators care about the children and families that attend the centre. I won't forget it. Hallam CLC and staff are such an asset to the community. Thankyou for everything.
Very rude staff who don’t receive or greet you well on drop-off or pick up. How their day went not discussed unless you ask.
I was also misled to believe that my child has a speech delay when it was in fact a language delay (they are two seperate avenues of development). Stay in your lane, first of all instead of making assumptions on the first ever session of a child. Work towards better manners too. The same educator who made this false assumption also humiliated me IN FRONT OF OTHER PARENTS that the council offer of places for 4yo kinder were sent out for the year when in actual fact, applications were still open until March. The other educator present that day laughed when I said I wasn’t yet sure which 4yo kinder child would be attending.
The only reason I kept my child there the whole term, was because of Rana - the educator my daughter adored from her old kinder that shut permanently due to lockdown.
I have just completed the Bookkeeping and Finance course. I have really enjoyed attending this course online for the last three months. I have learned so many important skills that i can utilize to take my career in a new direction. The option to use flexible online training during this year has been so beneficial. My trainer Amanda was very patient and knowledgeable and wrote the training to be fun and informative.
The atmosphere of the Community Centre is fantastic and the improvement that they have made to the centre are amazing
