Hakoya Ramen / Onsen Donburi reviews
35 One star for the waitress that works at dinner time before closing 18/3/23. To be honest, she has a bad attitude, rude face, don’t like kid’s. She looks like don’t want to be there for work. I feel sorry for her.
The food was good but because of the waitress, I will not recommend this restaurant.
Few minutes walking from the station.
The food was really delicious, especially spicy tonkotsu! ️️️️️
I highly recommended for my friends!
See you next time!
Bought the gyudon and the cheese katsu udon. Very impressed with both meals some of the best Japanese food I've eaten. Very friendly staff too
Great place with a good japanese atmospheric vibe inside. Tasty and affordable food. The Teriyaki chicken was cooked well and tasted amazing
Lovely little Japanese restaurant. Lovely food, highly recommend their chicken curry dishes and their udon dishes, the udon broths are delicious! We were served by a lovely lady named Im who was very friendly and provided great service! I would definitely recommend a stop by here, especially if your feeling like some warm hearty meals.
Super quick and easy. Amazing ambiance for introverts or people who just need a place for good food and quiet. Spicy ramen was just the right amount of heat and food. Love love love the ramen eggs.
Food was so delicious! Highly recommend this place, super cozy and cheap. Save extra money by getting one udon and a bowl of extra udon and share:)
Our experience with this restaurant was great, food was fresh and staff was very attentive.
I really liked this place and will be going back on the regular. Super generous portions and amazing how food so good can be so fast and such good value.
Very good food with a very cute shop. The price is fair and the serves are good sized. The ordering process is a bit different, but you can get a discount when paying in cash.
The staff was friendly and attentive.
An over decorated avg local eating spot, a little bit overpriced (there are a lot of other CBD Japanese fast food places that charge 16 bucks for the same amount of curry pork rice while this place charges 20.)
the prawn udon didn't taste too good either, but it's only $16 so Im ok with it.no toothpick on the table and the tissue paper might be really dirty since the container has no cover.like if you are very hungry, you can visit, but I don't suggest coming with your friends etc, since they overcharge liquor a lot.
Food was decent and the service was great! We enjoyed their udons very much as it was soft and chewy. Highly recommend their oden udons, chicken karaage and beef bowl with onsen egg.
Best Ramen I've ever had. Very different to the boring normal Ramen. Game changer was the deep fried Onions. A+
I've been to many of the ramen spots around Melbourne and after one stop here, I'd say it can contend with my top favorites.
The restaurant itself does a decent job of remaining authentic to a ramen shop in Japan, minus perhaps the music but I didn't mind it.
The menu has a ton of offerings including noodle texture and spice level. The food came out quickly (though staff maybe could be a bit friendlier, they weren't rude, just brief).
The chashu and egg were definitely my favorite parts of the ramen as they former was tender and torched to give it a unique delicious flavor. The egg was well marinated.
I'll definitely be back!
Delicious ramen in an attractive, cozy place. This was a random place we visited for a late lunch. We are so glad we did.
A friendly lady staff gave me a basket for me to put my bags instead of leaving me putting on the floor, I'm grateful for that
Soooo disappointed.
My friend recommended this restaurant
. Ramen was not really bad but hospitality was soooooo bad. I won't try again
Ramen is delicious, but the bad, loud music is a real downer. You can't relax while eating or enjoy a conversation with the music blaring like this.
Like actually one of the best ramen I have had since being in Tokyo years ago. Was a random idea to try here and we will be back.
Best ramen, very authentic look and feel, great staff, and perfectly matched Sake! This place is sensational! Thank you for all everything team!
