HHP has been a saviour for me as a single professional first time puppy owner. They have provided wonderful support whenever I've been in a crisis. I've been stuck in traffic and unable to pick my fur baby on time or had meetings rescheduled and it has always been fine with the crew who step in and do what is needed.

Wow what can I say about Hairy Hounds! I cannot praise the staff enough for the genuine love and excellent care they provide my beautiful Chase. They were very supportive and helpful when my dog first started, still a young puppy and still needing some work on some of his manners. Easy booking system, great and clear communication.
Highly recommend this doggy day care, in fact Chase loves it so much that I am starting think I should book myself in for a day of love and good care:)

Highly recommend Hairy Hounds Playground! Poppy has the best time at daycare which means I don’t have to worry about her at home. I’ve just moved and started using the school bus which has been so helpful with my working hours. I’ve also enquired about Poppy having an extended sleepover whilst I’m away on holidays, they’re a one stop shop for all your doggy needs! All the staff are so friendly and clearly care about your pup ️

Amazing place, we take out dogs weekly and they always have the best time. They take so many cute photos of all the doggies!

We’ve experienced very friendly service, and our pup’ been excited to be back every time we bring her here. However, our dog would often come back home with a quite upset stomach. Previously we tried leaving notes when booking and asking not to feed our pup anything but the food that we bring with her. However, on the same day, they would post instagram stories with our dog enjoying another dog's birthday cake.

Our last visit turned into a disaster, with our dog experiencing severe diarrhea. It has cost us sleepless nights, an exhausted pup and $700 in vet bills so far. If the situation doesn't improve, we'll have to take her to the hospital and put her on a drip for additional $2000.

If you have a more sensitive pup, it might be a good idea to explore other places and avoid making our mistake.

My puppy loves coming to Hairy Hounds. She can barely contain her excitement when she arrives, she obviously has a lot of fun. This shows me that they really care about her and her well-being. The report cards are an added bonus, it’s great to be able to hear about her day and what she’s been up to while in their care. Thanks Hairy Hounds.

Decent daycare but logistics are terrible. What’s the point of a booking system that doesn’t mean anything. You book, it’s goes through the system, you turn up with your dog and get told too bad. Makes using this place near impossible unless you want to ring up all the time to confirm bookings.

My shy dog’s confidence has improved so much since she started at Hairy Hounds. The team are so passionate about what they do and genuinely care about every dog!

I have had my three corgis attend hairy hounds from one from 2017 to others from 2021 to currently. They have been amazing with my dogs and trust them 100% with them. It is so reassuring that I can leave them with my work commitments and know that they are looked after.

I could not recommend the team at Hairy Hounds highly enough. They care for our dog Nova as if she was one of their own and they are like one big fur-baby-loving family! I have so much comfort sending Nova there and they make so much effort to treat as like real parents (which doesn't always happen with pet services). My boy LOVES hanging out with his mates at Hairy Hounds! He always comes home very happy and very tired:) The team are wonderful - happy, experienced, caring bunch of people who genuinely love their furry, four-legged clients and always provide the best care. I am so so glad Hairy Hounds was recommended to me. My boy Mackie loves his day at day care and is super excited when we arrive in the morning. The convenience of him being driven home is also handy. I would have him picked up in the morning as well but for me it was just a little early lol. Christie and all of the staff are extremely loving to all of the fur babies and so so flexible when I may want to change days or add a wash at the last minute. We love sending our dog to Hairy Hounds. He started going when he was a fully vaccinated pup and it’s been great socialisation for him. It’s so lovely to see photos of the days fun with other pubs. Staff are very friendly and professional.

Attended an online puppy school class during lockdown - highly recommended! The team were very communicative and with quick responses - zoom session was easy to join and we got great advice. It's just a small group of 4 or 5 people, and there was lots of opportunity to ask questions about our specific situation. They sent some written info afterwards too, for handy reference. Thanks so much Sharon and the Hairy Hounds team.

My now 9 year old dog Tilly has/was been going to Hairy Hounds since she was 7 months old and all I can say about HH and their staff are positive things. Staff are lovely, friendly and professional and have a genuine love for the fur babies they are minding. I ALWAYS felt comfortable and assured leaving Tills at HH knowing that she was safe and in good hands. I also lovethe fact that HH raise money for rescue animals and pre Covid would hold special event days with raffles, yummy food & drinks etc which also raise money for animal and wildlife rescue. As I have been working from home throughout Covid, Tilly has been at home with me, so has not been at Hairy Hounds for quite awhile, but this morning I received a call from the lovely staff member Jayden who was checking in on Tilly and I. What a lovely gesture. Thanks Jayden. And to all the staff at Hairy Hounds, thank you and keep up the great work.

Best doggy daycare in the Inner West! My pup has been going there since she was a baby and it’s her favourite place in the world. Management are fantastic and responsive. The carers are legends who will legit love your dog. My girl has some behavioural issues and they’ve always been so positive and helpful with advice for me and training her. 10/10 would recommend.
