After being blonde for 7+ years I took the plunge and decided to walk on the dark side aka brunette. Any blonde knows how scary this transition can be!

Simon made me feel calm and comfortable
In her knowledge and experience. I left the ball in her court and said do what you think would be best and she did not disappoint.
The end result was flawless and far better than I could have imagine. She beautifully color matched the right shades to suit my skin tone and the blend was seamless.
My hair feels softer and healthier than it has in years.

I would also just like to mentioned that the other girls working that day were also amazing. Loved the team work that was displayed and how welcomed they all made me feel. Shout out to Val, Desi & Jenna and the team working.

Staff were incredibly rude, took advantage of me and turned my hair orange when i asked for it to be blonde. Would not recommend this place, never in a million years. My brother could dye my hair better than them.

I was excited to get my hair done at Hairport 1, I booked to get a full head of foils. I decided to get a bit of pink underneath the back of my hair. I was there for 5 hours, my hair never takes that long to colour. I must say I was quite disappointed. The pink faded really quickly and I can see that my hair had broken off in parts where the pink is. I’ve never paid $320 and I never will.

I could not give a better recommendation for a hair salon than Hairport 1.

I've followed Maya and Lucy from Aurorah Rose in Ringwood to their new location at Hairport 1 in Boronia and their expanded team is nothing short of amazing. I travel from the Melbourne CBD to visit them regularly and I would follow them anywhere!

They take the time to listen to what you want and I have genuinely never left unhappy. I can be very ambiguous about exactly what I want at the best of times and they have always been patient with me and taken the time to explain every step and make sure I'm comfortable before we go ahead.

The atmosphere of the salon is so vibrant and all the girls are super friendly. You are never left feeling forgotten or unattended because they all work together as a team.

They are experts in blonde (which I had for years) and Lucy is EXCEPTIONAL with vibrant colour work. I have attached a photo of what she did for me just a few days ago - I'm in love with it!

The best hairdresser! I will never go anywhere else or trust anyone with my hair. This team actually listens to what you want and they deliver! I have been trying to find a reliable hairdresser for years, I’ve always wanted really icy / ashy blonde hair and all I got previously from other hairdressers was normal full head of foil and just a standard colour toner. These guys gave me my dream hair colour and cut and I couldn’t be more thankful!

I wish i did more research before assuming that paying high prices would garentee a at least decent job.
I just need a small amount of regrowth attended to, so half a head of foils. After sitting through the first girl turning my hair yellow, missing patches and trying to convince me to get a root stretch because she could get close enough to the root.

The boss stepped in for a second attempt which resulted in not much better. The results were horrendous. Never in my 35 years have i had such a bad job done to my hair.

Worst of all was the endless negative comments about my hair inbetween attempting to shift responsibility. The owner was rude and cold when things didn't go well.

After a total to 6 hours sitting in the salon i left with wet hair because i was just over it.

I paid, left and slept on it.

When i woke up and washed and dried my hair the results were disturbing. I politely messaged the salon with pictures of the results and saying i wasnt happy with the results. I did not get any form of response from them.

Disgusting business practice all around.
