Well stocked shop, good service today (for a change), Chapel St is not the easiest place to get parking and parking inspectors are very good at their jobs in this area so best to be mindful of this.

Highly don’t recommend the hair dresser! Unwelcoming and butchered my hair, even showed a picture of how I want it and didn’t style at the end also.shocking! Let me walk out of the salon like that, don’t recommend at all. Absolutely no remorse from the manager when called to complain as well

Terrible customer service. I bought an expensive straightener that the sales lady sold me and promised would work and tried it once it was awful did not work on my hair. Return policy says I can get a refund if it does not fit my needs or faulty and they refused to honor that or work with me. Worse straightener and I paid well over $200 and tried it once and returned it in two weeks. Do not recommend any hair products or this place. Return policy is not truthful.

I have always gone to hairhouse warehouse in chadstone and Richmond and received so much help and that is not my experience at the south Yarra store. The assistants seemed really judgmental and it’s almost like they wanted me to feel embarassed and stupid! On top of that, they talked me out of getting the product I know I wanted and I felt pushed into buying something extremely different. I left the store feeling like they’re about to talk about me when I’m gone.

Going to Hairhouse warehouse has always been a place i went to get advice when i want to do things myself. I don't like going to the salon, and spending $100's and multiple session to get what i want, so i like to do things myself. I've been wanting to go blonde, and i've done so much research, and i know what I'm getting myself into - i went to South Yarra HHW to get some advice on products on Saturday - the girl i spoke to was great, and gave me some tips, and we decided i would do a test strand and come back to work out how much I could lift - i came back on the Saturday and the only lady was there was terrible! As soon as i said im gonna lighten my own hair the look of judgement and distain came across her face made me feel really uncomfortable. I showed her the test, and she suggested a colour remover first, and said thats what she uses but her hair was orange and not nice. She wasn't helpful at all and made me feel really cheap. Thats not what customer service is about. I wont be back.

I was greeted and asked what i was after, i told her i am after blue hair dye and instead showing me what they got she keep saying she wont recommend any eventho i saw heaps blue colour there. I mean i know i only do it for fun not a pro hairdresser but i still deserve the customer service dont i?

Extremely rude manager! I scheduled a haircut in and was greeted with a lovely hairdresser! She told me once it dries naturally I could come in for a touch up around the frame of my face as sometimes it can dry differently. I called again to follow up on this and the manager was extremely rude on the phone, so much so I was nearly bought to tears and feel I can’t go back to the store again so I will have to pay somewhere else for a touch up. Really lovely hairdressers though but a horrible experience with that manager

The lady working on Thursday morning was kinda rude, and not really helpful with advice in regards to bleaching my hair,
not even recommending a toner.
I feel like I would have received better advice at chemist warehouse,
also when asking how to bleach my hair I was told to look it up on YouTube and read the instructions on the bottle basically
I wouldn’t expect this from a store that is suppose to specialise in hair I’ll be sure not to shop here again due to lack of customer serve and lack of knowledge on hair

I've moved away from the area and I'm still going to be using them as my hairdressers. All the girls there are super friendly and know their stuff)

I went to Hairhouse Warehouse two days ago. I was there for a free visit, because they didn’t listen to me on my first visit.
I told them I didn’t want red hair. I wanted lots of blonde streaks.
I was there for hours and walked out with with dark red hair. No more. They must have loads of dark red dye to get rid of. Never again.
No stars from me.
Apparently I have to put one star or it won’t be sent.

Totally recommend the stylists at this place. Always ask for Hannah or Kirsten. They're both amazing!

Go to Hannah for all your fashion colours and extension needs! Walked out with my dream hair today!:)

I received the highest of quality service on Friday 03/06 when my hair was transformed. The 3 lovely ladies working went beove and beyond for me and all chipped in to help speed up the progress.
My hair feels so much more healthy and i am so greatful for the wonderul job that was done

I used to shop here very often, but I stopped going there because I was so sick of how rude the girl with the long blonde hair was every time I went in.

First experience here and was AMAZING! Hanna really listened to me and got me the colour nobody else has been able to. Definitely will be back thanks guys xxx

Aaron did a fabulous job of correcting a failure hair colour by another hairdresser, and did a wonderful cut on my hair, totally professional and creative. I highly recommend this salon.

EDIT: I use to go here every week to have my hair done (straighten) until they got a new hairdresser, who did my hair and after 30mins my hair was curly and puffy and terrible. Not okay, she rushed me in and out within 20 minutes when it usually takes almost an hour to do my hair (which is down to my butt)
Probably won't visit here again or until they have a new hairdresser
