Came into store to seek information about hair services. Immediately after entering the store, I felt uncomfortable. There was two workers that were standing there having a conversation as I walked up, when one turned to me and I instantly sensed an unwelcoming and judgmental attitude based off the look she gave me. She did not seem impressed that I was there and asking for assistance. She came across as rude, intimidating and very ‘mean girl’. I did not follow through with booking an appointment in the salon simply because of the instantly unwelcoming atmosphere in the shop.

Phoebe was my stylist for the day! She was really lovely and great communication. Great saloon

Had my hair done by Siobhan and literally fell in love with her, love her attitude, made me feel so comfortable and had a great conversation the whole time. She has insane talent and experience and brought life back into my hair. Love love love her and would recommend her services to everyone. <33

I admire great customer service, it's very rare these days. Rude, entitled and arrogant staff have driven me to online shopping as I prefer to avoid the associated discomfort, however, there is a lady that works at this store that keeps me coming back year after year. I don't know her name (apologies) but she's not hard to miss - glorious long hair, generally wearing funky glasses and almost ALWAYS engaging with customers. This lady is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, generous and over all just plain bloody decent. If I owned a retail outlet, I would want ten of her! This lady is a godsend to customers that require product information and all hair related queries - you get my money EVERY time and you know exactly what products to send me home with - thank you and thanks to your boss for selecting you to help us!

Phoebe is such an amazing hairdresser! She is so lovely and is very accomodating. She worked super hard to make sure I was happy with the results of my hair! She did a great job dying and cutting my hair definitely recommend her!

A week ago I had a lovely in store experience! Stacey was so knowledgeable about the hairdryers, listing everything you need to know about them, as well as ensuring that you are paying for quality. Not only was Stacey so knowledgeable, but she kindly made the time to fit me into the salon where she washed my hair, followed by a gorgeous blow wave by Phoebe. Both really friendly and genuine individuals who you can tell have a passion for what they do! Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend for anyone else!

Would seriously not trust anyone else with my hair other than Phoebe and Lana. They have been there from day 1 in 2021 and I have been happy with every single result and never overcharge or oversell products they don’t believe in. They always make me feel welcome and never make me feel like my thick hair is a chore they are always genuinely happy to be there and love what they do. These two girls deserve a pay rise and are some of the best in the business they deserve recognition.

I am very particular about where I get my piercings done, having had many bad experiences. However, Jess is extremely knowledgeable, patient and an excellent piercer (&person!)! What a fabulous experience. Jess took the time to really assess my ear and where my new piercing could be safely placed. The store was lovely and clean and the piercing room was immaculate. The jewellery is all beautiful as well. Highly recommend Jess

Jess the body piercer is an absolute legend! Professional, and friendly with tonnes of experience and expertise.

had my cartilage pierced at another location and they had put the earring in the wrong way and a irritation bump was growing over my ear. I went to southland and Jess checked my ear and she was shocked by the way the earrings had been put in. She offer immediately to change it preventing a potential hospital trip. She is amazing.

Siobhan is an absolute sweetheart to deal with, every time I get my hair done by her she’s so friendly and does exactly what I want and ask for:) I’ll be only using her in the future. If you’re looking for a hair stylist who actually is knowledgeable and very caring, then I highly recommend Siobhan! 5/5

Yvonne is the best! My son has ASD and she was super amazing with him! Great hair cut and even trimmed his beard! Super sweet and very talented. In fact the whole Wednesday crew rocks! XXX

The lady that served me seemed less than interested that I was in the store there to buy products. She did help me locate what I wanted, but it was not how I’d expect people who work in customer service to act.

Highly recommend going and seeing Stacey for any piercing! She is amazing, friendly, kind, caring & knows her stuff! She's so helpful when you have questions and queries about your peircings and don’t know what to do! Love going to see her she truely works magic! X

I had my hair done on Saturday the 21st of January for my 35th Birthday.

I had the express style service where you come in with washed and dried hair and the stylist/ hair dresser does their thing (I opted for a relaxed wave). Phoebe was my stylist and she was FANTASTIC. I got the exact look I was after. Thank you Phoebe.

Me and a friend both went to get piercings and we both had the best experience we've ever had getting a piercing with Jess (at southland store)! No words to describe how lovely and friendly she was. She made us feel so at ease and relaxed the whole time. Genuinely the most lovely person we've ever met and a phenomenal piercer, both incredibly happy with our piercings. Thank you so much Jess ️
