A few months ago I had my ear pierced here but, on my ears the piercing was uneven, so on my left one, it was pierced a bit (higher up?) So later on it kept bleeding and wouldn't stop, felt terrible I kept crying. On my right ear, I took out the earring for a minute and the hole was really small, the back side of the ear had a bump and I had huge trouble trying to put another earring on so I used the earring I was originally wearing.

Though the place was clean and staff was nice and lovely. ⁠

(Maybe include needles to pierce ears if you already don't do that?)

I don't intend for this review to be nasty, so my apologies if it comes off that way.

I regret going here for a piercing last year… I was told by lady at front desk that they do not use piercing guns, which I wanted to avoid as they are known to be less hygienic and worse for healing. I get into the piercing room and was told they do use piercing guns. I was a bit nervous about getting it done and was tearing up, the man who did my ears (man with lots of piercings and coloured hair) did not offer any sympathy or encouragement, simply stood there waiting for me to be ready. I even stated that I have anxiety on the piercing form which obviously wasn’t read or acknowledged. Didn’t make me feel comfortable at all. Overall awful customer service and 4 months later my piercing still has not healed despite following all standard healing practices.

Today I walked in to buy some products post shampooing my hair. Something to help with frizziness and have some heat protector in it. The girl showed my a lotion which was for split ends. When i told her the product is not what i am after as per description.she said it does the job even the description says it is only for split ends hair. She also said they had no other products. So disappointing. HairHouse Warehouse should hire someone who knows about their products. This is not the first time I get this kind of service in this store.

I’ve done hair styling today from this salon from lady hairdresser. I showed her picture in the start how I wanted my hair curls. She used hair straightener to curl my hair and used so much of hair spray. I told her that previously all hairdressers used hair curling tong/rod on my hair but she didn’t pay attention and started saying everyone is different and I’ve my own style… in return all I can say that you’re the hair expert you must know better… if end result is same then I don’t care you use curl tong or straightener and trusted her.

In 1-2 hours, my hair had no curls at all. $75 gone total waste. I own airwrap… if I wanted to have result like that, I could have done my hair myself with airwrap. Was expecting a salon hair finish but…

She was very rude not just with me but she was extremely bossy with her colleague - a male hairdresser who seems to be an intern but at least he has a welcoming personality.

I asked for a hot chocolate and after waiting a long time, they said they don’t have any drinks except tea. Well you need to game up or better close down.

I would say your previous lady hairdresser was much better than the current one.

Please don’t RIP people hard earned money. When you charge, at least deliver what promised.

I went in for hair dye and the lady that helped me gave me the best of advice in how to look after my hair before during and after dying it and gave me such a detailed run down on everything I'd be using and how to do it correctly!
If your looking for a friendly staff to help you with your hair or even just a cut in store I can't recommend this place enough!

I had called up before making an appointment for a consultation and when I had spoken to the lady on the phone she told me to come in with pictures on how I wanted my hair to look. The day I had my consult & hair appointment I had showed the lady who was doing my hair the colour I had wanted (ombre). She had told me that since I had red in my hair it was going to be very hard to get the desired colour and we might have to bleach it twice. When it came to bleaching my hair she told me to bleach it another time so the colour would show up more as i wanted the ends looking lighter. Once the bleach was done I expected my whole head a dark brown colour and a lighter brown towards the ends. Instead I got orange hair which is now so brittle. When I was unhappy with the colour and showed her the photo again to tell her that i wanted it dark brown and then a lighter brown towards the ends she told me "that I was wasting time by bringing up photos now" and then dyed my hair again which only darkened it a little bit. My hair is still orange and so brittle it just keeps breaking off. Very unhappy with the communication and attitude of the staff

I am super picky with all the products I use. I am the type of person that would research online and read forums before I purchase any product. However, no amount of research compares to the professional and honest advice I received at HW MC! Thanks so much Jewel for being so knowledgable, patient and offering honest tailored advice. I didn't feel like I was being sold unnecessary products that I don't need, unlike at other places. I've been to other HW and the sales rep will almost always just give me a blank look or offer products that aren't suitable for my hair type. I lost faith until now. All the products Jewel has recommended has been worth its weight in gold! My hair looks and feel amazing and I've triple checked all the prices online and can guarantee I was offered the best price in the market! That is so rare these days with discounted online retailers. Thanks so much again, I will return just for your professional and authentic genuine service!

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an amazing experience it was! I had a severe problem of extremely tangled hair which I was unable to sort out and was hard to resolve by other places as well. However all the staff members of salon over here showed me a ray of hope of getting rid of this by their experience, hard work and knowledge. They invested good time on me and did a lot of hard work on my hair. Specially jackie, the salon manager, she is a sweetheart and the most optimistic person I have ever seen. I got my original hair at the end without any knots and deadlocks. I am extremely happy with their services and would surely suggest to everyone for a visit. Great job Hairhouse warehouse team

A few days ago, I went to a different hair salon around melbourne central and they had told me it was IMPOSSIBLE to get pink hair from my black box colour. I was devastated, and so I went to hair house warehouse to ask for advice. I spoke to jacklyn about it and she told me about all the possibilities and ways that I can transform my hair. She was so optimistic about it, it made me so happy to know my hair was in the hands of someone who genuinely cares for their clients and knows their stuff.

After booking an appointment she was willing to work a whole 9 hours on my very stubborn and thick hair. It was a process! She was always smiling and it made me feel so reassured. She treated my hair multiple times to ensure that it’s as healthy as can be, and talked me through each stage so that I could understand as well.

The other staff who weren’t involved in my hair were great as well! Everyone was so kind. Jacklyn even offered me tea/coffee and kept checking up on me to see how i was going. She was amazing and I will definitely be coming here again (even if it’s 44 degrees, because every cent I paid yesterday was worth it). I love my pink hair now and I feel like a completely different person. I’m so grateful!

I work in a retail-related field, and appreciated the honest, no-nonsense approach of the sales assistant. I think her name was Jewel? Had great product knowledge and answered all my questions well. Would recommed seeing her for hair care products and advice.

It was my first time visiting hair house warehouse Melbourne central yesterday, I had my hair done by Michael and from the second I sat down we agreed on everything so I knew I was in good hands. I wanted a change from blonde and Michael gave me a root stretch.still keeping my blonde ends, I love it! The colour & tone is perfect! Thank you Michael! I will be back for sure!

Only come to this store if I ever need any piercing jewellery! Biggest range of nose ring jewellery compared to their other stores and friendly and helpful staff and piercers.

Highly recommended getting your hair done by Jacklyn, she is so lovely and makes great conversation! Had my hair dyed a gorgeous two toned green, absolutely in love!
