Gone downhil since new people took over. Don't believe the $15 seniors price. If they even touch a pair of scissors even to trim your fringe or smooth the buzz edges it will cost you $25.2 guys in front of me and myself all expected $15 (as advertised) and we all got charged $25. When asked they said the price goes up in steps without an explaination of what they are. Oh, by the way, when using the clippers they just about rip your hair out. I hate being deceived and won't be going back.

Cut my hair way too short my hair was almost hip length asked for long layer but now my hair is shoulder length and the layers can not even be considered as layer very disappointed. Took 6 year to grow to that length it only took her 20mins to chop 90% of it off an I was told that it's only a little short if you pull your hair to the front never going back ever again.

Not to sure of the name of the woman but she had dyed red hair and she did my hairdressing for me and it is honestly one of the best jobs I have ever had done to hair, was so happy with it, keep up the fantastic work

Asked for a fade of 2mm, the haircut was not what it should have been, cuts are not even, the fade is Bad, use cheap quality machines to cut hairs. I’m sorry but this is not a professional work.

Customer service is definitely lacking of late by a new worker, demand i wait outside when i asked how much of a wait she replied. Don't know, you have to wait outside. In which I relied. No I don't, i can go elsewhere! Walked out. Went and signed on with the other business, had an hour wait but able to do my shopping in between and a lovely sms to say proceeded up the queue.

I went for a haircut and seemed to walk into a very tense situation.
Seemed to go down hill from the time I sat in the chair, the clippers weren't working and eventually stopped, only half way through doing the sides, the rest she cut by hand, I had said I wanted it a bit shorter, but I guess shorter is a matter of perspective.
The bit I am concerned about, is I have ended up with a fringe resembling Jim Carey in dumb and dumber, lucky its only a couple of weeks between a good and bad haircut, or so they say.
Wasnt game to ask for an eye brow trim, so looks like I'm going home to trim these bad boys myself.
I have had a couple of haircuts here, maybe just give it a miss today, till there is peace and calm (Sunday 23.10)

Horrible hair cut. Uneven for a simple short back and sides. Had to have partner fix once i got home. Really disappointed

They let me wait for more than One and half hour and then told me they don’t have time to dye and cut, let me come tomorrow! Just waste my time! Strongly do not recommend anyone come to this shop!

The most dedicated and patient hair salon I've ever been to! I've been coming to the girls there for the last 3 years and have always loved the work they do. Amita hits the target every time! No matter what style or colour I ask for. These girls are extremely hard working and deserve nothing but respect and praise for their long hours! I've had the unfortunate experience of being mid appointment and seeing walk-ins speak very rudely towards the staff because of the wait times. This is not their fault, they do the best they can with what staff they have. This can be avoided by booking an appointment or having just a bit more patience. If you want quality EVERY time, GO HERE!

This salon is amazing, more so Amita is an amazing, hardworking and dedicated employee who deserves the world. When Amita is there things run smoothly and as they should, timely, professional and calm. People can be so nasty towards the staff in this store for things that are out of there control, they are busy because they are cheap (prices should honestly be raised), the wait times are often large because of the influx of clients they have throughout the day and sometimes there are not many staff rostered on leaving Amita to work alone or have no break, no toilet breaks or even get a chance to breathe for even a moment. This part I do not find fair. Adequate staffing should be given at all times so the staff are not run off their feet or stressed. Amita is loved and respected, and sort upon highly by her clients. She takes the time to listen to what you want and is always friendly and well experienced with YEARS of professional hairdressing…

I have been there yesterday for my hair colour and I had the best experience there. The staff was amazing, especially Palvinder and Amita, who have done my hair colour and served me very well with their best customer service. They did their best job and I am really happy and appreciate their efforts to fulfil my demands I definitely will go there again and recommend it as it is 10/10

I have now been attending Hair Edge in Ballarat for over three years. I have loved their service and friendly, kind professionalism so much that I attend EVERY WEEK (COVID lockdown's excepted). My hair is now healthier and easier to care for than it has ever been in my life.

I have often been saddened at the rudeness that this lovely team must often deal with. They handle these difficult situations kindly and firmly, and always make every attempt to work with their clients to keep everyone happy. They work incredibly hard to maintain their services in the face of low staff numbers (due to there being a lack of hair dressers in Ballarat), and, at times busy and impatient clients.

I can not thank Amita and her gorgeous team enough! AMAZING WORK! F

There system of taking a raffle ticket isn't working. I even put my phone number on it for them to call me when I was due Couldn't wait in the shop due to number of people already waiting. No phone call and when I cam back they already gone past my number. They then serve other people that were after me even though I was now sitting in the shop. I understand the shop being busy but it's a shambles. Oh well I guess I can always go to the other hairdressers in the centre.

Will never come back 3 hour wait get 5 minute hair cut they need 4 to 6 staff members instead 2 staff

Went in early was seen almost right away, they put my anxiety to rest while going through process. Everyone kept saying how amazing my hair looked

Pal coloured, put in foils, cut and styled my hair, what a gem she did an excellent job, I’m very pleased with the result and would recommend Pal as an excellent hairdresser for all of the above.

Ok first of all really great service and nice environment and staff is really nice in wendouree shopping centre. I like the way Palwinder did my hair, am going to love it. I high recommend please do foils from Palwinder (Pal), she is really awesome with her work specially with the bleach work, usually I go any where they burn my hairs always but when it comes to Pal oh my god she did amazing colour from my black hair to sliver Pearl. You guys are very lucky to have Pal in your company good job Hairedge team keep it up. I wish you guys have more 5 star I will definitely give soooo happy ️️
