Hahndorf's Fine Chocolates

The apple slice was very moist and fresh. Plenty of cinnamon on chai latte. Croydon don't have much cakes and slices to choose from. Montrose is worth the drive and atmosphere.

Great coffee and the free chocolate a special treat. Iced chocolates and iced coffees delicious when it’s warm out.
Just wish their opening hours were longer.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE coming here! The staff are absolutely wonderful and engaging, and the hot chocolates are hands down the best in the area. They also do a great kids one too, which my little one highly reccomends

What’s not to love? Friendly efficient service from Paige, Jay and all the staff, always with a smile. Delicious hot chocolate, fantastic milkshakes, beautiful boxed chocolates. I’ve been coming here for years and just love this place.

Didn’t get past the door. Closes at 3 even though security door closed main door was open at 4.15 Staff shouted out they were closed. Shame was about to buy several choc indulgent presents.

Very friendly staff and nice chocolates. Visited today and was impressed with the covid protocols in place - all staff wearing masks correctly, door held open (no need to touch), QR code at door, and sanitiser at entry. Well done:)

Needed a gift for a wonderful surgeon.
Chose a mid price, impressive box and ribbon. Chocolates looked luscious, mixed milk and dark chocolates.

Snuck in there for a hot chocolate (and a free chocolate) between jobs and needed to do some messages.
I was greeted with a happy staff member and had a yummm hot chocolate and a sneaky free chocolate.
I noticed they had photo cards and they are done by a local gentleman, gotta love how they support locals. I overheard a conversation about the cards.
Go there, support locals who support other locals.
Now I've found somewhere I can prop between jobs and have delish food and drink, ill be back.

Yummy chocolates and hot chocolate. Cosy and comfortable. Toilet on-site (always handy with small kids).

Coffees were luke warm, service was slow, no complimentary chocolate with the coffee. Once upon a time this place was great. Unfortunately new owners aren't up to it.

Visit all the time. Great coffee and the best milkshakes and hot chocolate I've ever had. Lovely, friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Nice addition to the Croydon East. The Hahndorf chain of fine chocolate cafes vary from store to store. All the Hahndorf stores are consistent in offering praline as part of the purchase. The only variation is the ice coffee and ice chocolate. The Hahndorf in Upper Fern Tree offers the best ice coffee - not only it tastes good, you get two servings for the price of one, in addition to free praline. The one in Montrose offers one cup with a blop in the other. The one in Croydon South offers just a glass. Some Hahndorf cafes also offer different food or cakes. Each cafe also offer their own style and atmosphere. I just like to visit one wherever I am close by anyway. Basically, they are all good.
