Being my first stay in a treatment centre I was quite anxious and overwhelmed heading in but the staff did an amazing job and settling my nerves. The program is in-depth and I ended up learning a great deal about my addiction. This is the longest I’ve ever been clean and it’s all thanks to the team at Hader

I have just finished my stay here at hader clinic and i couldn't feel better. The team at hader are great, I learnt a lot about myself with the program they run. Dr keflay the psychologist is unbelievable his knowledge around drug addiction is amazing and was very informative. Be VERY cautious before choosing this 'clinic'.
Your loved one may end up with greater damage than what they entered. Their unprofessionalism is astounding. Best to look elsewhere.

The Hader Clinic is an excellent place, and the staff are absolutely amazing. I completed my recovery with ease due to the support from staff & the community, would highly recommend. This is myself second time with the hader clinic the first time I didn't listen to the support. This time they contacted me and helped me get back in. The staff really care.

The Hader clinic has honestly had such a big impact not only on my recovery but on my life as a whole. I came here broken 28 days ago and was someone I didn’t recognise because of my constant battle of abusing drugs and alcohol. I’ve been to multiple treatment centres but came to hader exhausted and was treated with open arms and care/compassion I desperately needed. I can’t thank the nurses and support staff, especially Jacqui, Pete & Elliot. I’m so proud of my achievements. I have been with the Hader Clinic for nearly 3 months, which means this is the longest I’ve ever been clean & Sober, having been through so much I can honestly say, I’m grateful for the team at the Hader Clinic & for my family. If you’re looking for treatment this clinic stands out, the program there has saved my life & continues to reunite me with my family. The program & staff is why you should choose this place. They are a dedicated team, who never gives up on their clients.

I came into the Hader clinic struggling to think of things to be grateful for. Today as I sat in a meeting/program over 2 months clean/sober that Hader had introduced me to I could think of countless.

I cannot look back on my journey without showing gratitude to the Hader Clinic, from my initial phone call with Elliot to my intake with nurses Chang and Adrian who were fantastic. A special mention to support worker Alyssia too. Also to Pete and Jacki who respectfully showed me the right way forward when leaving Geelong - these guys are all rockstars and are in your corner!

My stay at Hader was amazing. All of the staff were helpful and caring at all times. It's been very full on with groups and meetings, also recreational time. Lots to be learned from each other. Thankyou to ALL staff you're the greatest.

Staff were amazing in both experience and knowledge! Elliot, Jackie and Pete run an amazing clinic which is effective and provides support, knowledge and care, from process groups, to therapy, to day to day tasks. They provided great support for me during my process and continue to support me now! I cannot recommend Hader enough! Thank you guys for your tireless efforts and continued support during my illness

Excellent clinic, I was skepital at first however after seeing out my time there I see why it is run the way it is. My previous clinics have proven to be ineffective numerous times. Great program if you are serious about your recovery this is the place to go. Fantastic staff and a great community surrounding you. They put your recovery as number 1 priority.

I Peter Hosri a recovering addict that was daily using for 18 years. My kids specially my oldest 30 years of age haven’t spoken with or seen for the last 6 years. I have detoxed at hader Geelong from the 2 nd of February. And what great staff professional and caring they were I am 57 years of age all that was required from me was to listen and follow their program. I was taking insulin’s for my diabetes type 2, I no longer take insulin’s from 70 units to zero and I read between 4&8 which is perfect. I also had an infection which I was not aware of and that’s cured. They not only saved my life but I am so grateful for my son choosing this amazingly great clinic. If you have an addiction and you can’t manage it please read my review and make that call it will save your life. Beautiful community great staff excellent food and lots of activities. The staff here are really knowledgeable, caring and understanding. Sarah the family clinician was so easy to talk to and had lots of great tips and advice. Elliot who was my first point of contact was there for me when things were at crisis point guiding me on what to do next. Jackie too was great. The information I was sent was invaluable and only wish I had read this a long time prior to my son being admitted. Can’t rate this place highly enough. The only down side for my son was that he wasn’t able to vape. Thank you all

I write this review as a family member of a client. My brother was admitted to Hader Clinic for a 3-month period of rehabilitation. The team at Hader Clinic were very good. They were accessible, have lived experience and follow the 12-step program, where the focus is abstinence, not harm minimisation.

My brother’s commitment to making an enormous change to his life and his lifestyle, coupled with the support he received from staff members, was great. The support I received as a family member was exceptional. I felt part of the process, I was kept informed and I felt very supported along the way. The clinic offers a handbook, family support groups that meet every fortnight, resources and ongoing support meetings via zoom and telephone, for family members.

After my brothers 90 days were up, I remember walking into the clinic and seeing my brother, thinking, I’ve got my brother back! Addiction is a disease – it changed my brother, he became unrecognisable, so disconnected from society and his true self. It’s a slow and painful disease, and the impact on my brother, every single relationship and friendship, and our family, was profound and life changing.

I know it’s a long journey, and some days are better than others. It’s been just over two months since he left the clinic and things are going well. He has strategies in place, a network of good people he can lean on for support, ongoing face to face support twice weekly with staff at the clinic and is doing well.

I will be forever grateful for the support both my brother and I received from the staff at Hader Clinic. I’m a firm believer that it’s the people that make ALL the difference. A massive thank you to all the staff at Hader Clinic.

Hader Clinic has completely changed my life. I came in with an arrogant, ignorant mentality and thought I knew everything. The staff here are absolutely amazing. Jackie and Pete run and facilitate a simple but super effective program which makes complete sense. They are also super nice people who're willing to go out of their way to meet any requirements you may need. The rest of the support workers are super well trained and organised very efficiently by management. I cannot speak more highly of the nurses here they're fantastic and some of the most lovely people I have ever met. Overall I can't fault my experience at Hader and compared to the other 5 different rehabs i've been to none come close. Anyone with any addiction issues should definitely highly consider Hader clinic Geelong if you're looking to turn your life around!

The Hader clinic saved my life 4 and half years ago and I’ve never looked back the support staff all have life experience and are understanding and compassionate Jacqui and Pete helped me learn how to live again and gave my mother her daughter back ️
