Gyoza Gyoza reviews
39Poor service! Food arrived. Expect customers to use bare hand to finish the food. No chopsticks or cultery provided.
My partner and I are visiting from Brisbane. Happened to walk past this gyoza bar. We are super happy with the speed of how the food came out. And also the great service from the staff
Best Gyoza and Ramen in the city! Highly recommend and definitely get your moneys worth, will be back!
Amazing food and service. We had gyoza, okonomiyaki, salmon sashimi, tempura vegetables, lamb ribs, and umeshu. It was a delicious feast.
Food was good and reasonably priced. However they use free Spotify so had to listen to ads over loud speakers. Also saw a mouse run into the kitchen.
Reasonably priced, with absolutely fantastic food, drinks, and service. Was seated very quickly, and got everything I ordered in a very speedy time frame, despite them being extremely busy! Would 110% recommend to anyone else wanting a delicious Japanese meal.
The staff were friendly and lovely, but the venue itself and the food left a lot to be desired.
We originally booked at the Gyoza Gyoza at the Enporium and were moved to the Melbourne Central location.
The Melbourne Central venue is very open with majority of the seating in a thoroughfare of a shopping centre.
Most of the items we attempted to order for dinner and drinks were out of stock and what was available wasn't the greatest quality or tasting.
I'm not sure if it was due to the holiday period or just current circumstances being so poor for everyone, but I personally wouldn't have a repeat visit here. I would still like to try the originally booked venue to see if it is any better.
Nothing too special, but a decent choice if you’re needing a quick idea. Cooking quality needs a bit of work, and the service is quite unwelcoming. The gyozas are great and live up to their name at least!
Special lobster soup ramen. 5 minutes from order to dish on table. Karage and Japanese scollop are very nice.
First of all, the ramen is fine, too salty.
The drink is nice. HOWEVER, the yakitori and tamago is a nightmare! Waited more than 15mins to get our tamago and yakitori. The tamago was cold and salty, normally Japanese tamago is sweet and not cold. The yakitori was more than $8 but only 2 skewers, it was a bit raw and has a really strong alcohol taste which is disgusting!
Amazing lobster soup ramen, can't decide if we like the shoyu base or Yuzu base better. Just too good. The matcha beer goes well with it. Fried oysters were very good too
Best lobster ramen in Melbourne! Very affordable too! Highly recommended. Staff are really helpful and friendly too. 10/10 customer service!
***update: still the best lobster ramen in town!:)
Food took a while before it started arriving and when it did, it was cold.
Drinks didn't get put through for at least 20 mins after actually ordering.
Had to request knife for wafu steak. Made us feel forgotten
After about an hour we gave up on ever receiving the ramen and asked for it as take away instead. By that point we weren't hungry. Took an extra 5 mins there.
No water brought to the table either.
Food quality was not great either.
Amazing food, highly recommend the seafood spring rolls and iced tea! Staff friendly and food came out quickly.
Everything was awesome. Superb food. Love the flavour. Except the takoyaki it was frozen. Everything was outstanding
The waitress forgot to bring one of our dishes out and free food is offered for positive reviews
Don’t come here if you have no patience at all or simply can’t tolerate waiting an hour for your food with dirty tables, no utensils given. We were patiently waiting for our food, 45 minutes in after we order they told us that they accidentally deleted our order which turns out that they didn’t key it in the first place. We were understanding and gave our orders again but knowing that they mucked up our orders, they didn’t push our orders forward and let us wait for another 30 minutes again and wasn’t apologetic as well. Food was so-so and utensils had to be asked for even when our food arrived 1-1.5 hours in after we ordered. We were understanding and patient for a long time but this was a little too much.
Waited for 10 mins to order. Another 20 mins for the noodles. Half an egg, one piece of thin cut meat. 15 dollars. Will never come again.
