Waste of my Money
The service staff is really sweet but the food came very extremely slowly. Also, this is the blandest Japanese food I ever had. The food was not good at all.
Amazing food. The blonde girl who works there is nice, professional, with great customer service.
Love it!
Would definitely come again! The food and service was amazing, has a wide variety of food to choose from
What a place to eat, amazing customer service, clean, great atmosphere, the music and volume were perfect, food delivered to table on-time, very respectful and friendly staff, best quality food. All meals arrived hot, drinks were spot on. Definitely will come back many more times. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves food. So far, my best ever restaurant experience.
My favourite place to go for lunch. Food taste so amazing! Price is also amazing! And also they have happy hours for beers! Highly recommend.
Absolutely beautiful! Atmosphere, staff and most importantly the food! Delicious would definitely recommend. The hot stone steak was such a great experience.
The best dish i ordered was not the Gyoza but the ox tongue! Best environment and service, prawns are smaller than i throught but everything is delicious and well presented. Will visit again.
A shopping centre hidden gem - the nautical theme is certainly unique and the lobster on the service table is hilarious. Great izakaya food with a good balance of portion v price - the kaki fry, gyoza and yakisoba are all super yummy. Highly recommend if you're on your lunch break while shopping!
The food was really good! Great ingredients, not too salty, just the right amount. Wide variety of choices to choose from.
Beautiful restaurant and helpful waiters.
Price range is suitable for us lunch goers
The staff! The food! The decor! This is a really fun experience to have on your own or with friends, family or as a couple.
Came in during a shopping trip as really wanted a soft serve (love Gyoza Gyoza's soft serve flavours!) but realised I haven't actually visited and dined in at the Emporium Gyoza Gyoza. Was going to do a takeaway but stayed to dine in because the staff was so lovely and the ambience is just so wholesome. Ordered a cheesy potato okonimiyaki and takoyaki. Recommend you do too!
Unfortunately, I’m really disappointed. I made a reservation online for my family’s Christmas day lunch. Was really looking forward to it. I made time as Christmas was my only day off only to find out it’s closed. I already had a bad feeling when I passed by their branch in Melbourne Central on the way to Emporium. I rang their number while walking and was diverted to another number and the guy who picked up my call said their branch is closed. Drove 40 mins for nothing. Was hoping my family would have a good time as I didn’t get to cook because I worked 11 hour shifts for 6 days til Christmas eve. So, don’t trust their online booking. It gets confirmed even when they’re closed. Ring first before going especially when it’s a public holiday.
Food is really enjoyable and it has a really nice atmosphere! Portion sizes are enough that they are filling but isn’t overdone. I love how there is a variety of dishes available and everything is flavourful! By far the politesse friendly service and ambience of the restaurant is definitely something which I’ll come back for! Thank you so much for the great dining experience!
Possibly one of the worst Japanese restaurants Ive ever been to; and it's really hard to make me dislike Japanese. The salad took up half of the plates and my friend said they'd "never eaten so much lettuce in their life. " the drinks were nice, but coppe pan is literally downstairs and far nicer
Lunch at emporium with the family was delicious, we all got the lobster rolls. Would recommend.
Fresh food and good place meeting friends in city. Easy walk to Emporium from Bourke St.tram stop. Would love to try other dishes next time. Average quality food and reasonable price, worth on money~
Gyoza Emporium-The food was ok, but a quick Saturday lunch turned into an one and half hour marathon. No food were presented in the first 40 min after order was placed. Under staffed. Couple of tables were ordered after us got their food before us.
Not recommend and won’t go again.
All items that *usually* would taste amazing if you went to a reasonably decent restaurant. Too bad this was an exception. These were pretty bland, lifeless, and one dimensional. The gyozas especially felt like those generic boxes of gyoza you get from Woolies' freezer.
The tamagoyaki had a bit of grey tinge, and it took a bit of editing to make it look presentable. Edible, sure, but it ain't pretty, and they don't even taste as good as something you could get at, say, Makoto, or Sushi Jiro. I'm not asking for kisume level, but at least serve something better than sushi sushi.
The takoyaki were pretty decent.
Service was pretty slow too, but it isn't bad.
3/5
edible, but nothing worth mentioning.
