The chicken in the 2 bowls that we purchased was burnt and the nachos where stale.
The 2 burritos had mainly beans a very little chicken.
To top it off it cost was ridiculously high

I dont often review things but i have all the time in the world right now while i sit in the Guzman drive through. I wish i could say this is a once off but unfortunately this happens every time I come here - a good 30 minute wait at least every time. I could just get off my lazy butt and go inside but aside from me being lazy, this has to also be the absolute worst customer service i have experienced in a long time. Just recently i tried to hand the order number back to the staff member and without saying anything she just looked at my hand, looked me in the eyes, turned around and walked away. I was actually a little intimidated by a 15 year old. Anyway, i guess thats it for me since im finally at the window. Think its time to go elsewhere. The food is always pretty meh as well tbh.

Purchased 2x burrito bowl Sunday night pick up and the had severe food poisoning for the next 3 days, only just recovering now.
Really disappointed and sounds like some changes may need to be made to this business.

Place its really dirty. The chairs and tables are so oily. Food is so slow. They seems to run a different ordering system ordering at the counter and on the app. What madness! People who ordered at the counter finished their food and left even though they came later than us. It turned out our food was ready and they left it at the counter and did not call us. Then when we ask they said we have to wait without checking. It’s also inhumane as they do not provide water. It’s basic human needs. The humanitarian department should look into this. You are force to buy a small bottle of water for $4! What is this?

Ordered with uber eats. Took almost 2 hours. Food was stale, cold and all this for $96. Never again

Got a child's burrito. Only wanted lettuce, chicken. (not hard to make). They put everything on it. Rice, corn, tomato. Look like something the cat dragged in. Waited 15 mins in queue. Got home wrong order.
Not happy. My receipt even has on it my original order.
Not happy. My son was disappointed.

We picked up takeaway Guz tonight and I opted for a beef burrito bowl which was both flavoursome and filling. It’s a shame nothing comes with guac and you have to pay extra to add it, I’m pretty sure it’s a prerequisite for Mexican food and surcharging is just a money making endeavour

We got takeaway from here tonight, it was my first time with a California style burrito which essentially swaps out the rice for chips. In future I’d stick with the traditional one as the chips were kind of soggy and not particularly enjoyable. Nachos were good though

I went to this place today and i ordered and payed for a large burrito bowl with no meat and extra black beans instead.when i asked for the guacamole they told me they had run out.i spent about 15 minutes in the drive through waiting for my meal.by the time i got home to eat my food, i opened it up to nothing but utter disappointment.there was no beans, no sauce and no sour cream, all i was left with was rice, tomato and cheese.over all it was a waste of money and time, i want my money back.

Stale chips, less cheesy than a foreskin, harder than my boyfriends sock under his bed. Made me bust tho

Took 20 mins to prepare 1 burrito and fries despite only 1 other guy with a single meal in front of me in queue. Priority clearly given to uber eats/drive thru and not walk in customers. Watched as 4 staff had food prepared for lunch break instantly in front of me. Chips packed upside down in bag. No apology for wait.

One of the best GyGs I've visited in Melbourne. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl and it included all the ingredients you would expect to see. The food was filling and delicious. The service was fast, and they even included a couple of refresher towelletes - first time I've seen that at a GyG.

The place is a vibe. The food always come in fast. Staff are extremely friendly. Foods is 10/10.

So disappointing… save yourself $44.10 and go somewhere else. The burritos we ordered for ourselves were the same size as the burritos we ordered for our children. Total rip off. We made a complaint on their website and showed them our bank details just as they requested. Their pathetic customer service said that without photos for proof there was nothing they could do except deposit $5 in our GYG app. Complete disappointment.

Do not order on the app for this store, there is zero organisation and numbers barely get called - I waited over 20 mins AFTER the time it was marked as ready. I asked multiple times and mine was still “waiting” to be made. Not sure how complicated salad and taco’s are to make at a Mexican place.
Everyone with numbers well after me got there food.

I constantly have issues with this store no matter the order method. Forgetting items, extremely slow, food is just thrown in the bowl, it’s not professional.

Without a doubt the worst guzman store for getting orders right. Take your time when you get your food because they always miss one or more items of your order.

Waited almost a hour for my Uber meal and it was wrong and cold! The lady on the phone said no orders have been taking a hour when I literally waited that long hahaha. Train your staff you expect a $35 meal to be correct

Very slow, cold food and insincere customer service. You should do better and not make up excuses.

The service here is pathetic, never seen a restaurant with more workers doing absolutely nothing. One throws a burrito next to a bag because apparently they’re not trained to put it in the bag, then the other 37 workers leave it to get cold before they put it in the bag, seriously McDonald’s does more orders with about 5 staff than Guzman does with 100

I wasn't asked if it was for dine in or takeaway. When my number was called, my order was just left on the counter with 3 or 4 others so I had to wait for the server to come back to show me which was mine. As it was, I was dining in so took my food to a table to 'enjoy'. No cutlery so had to go and ask. Then when I was ready to start, my food was cold. My order was taken at 12.44pm and the wait was not too bad so although they were busy, it didn't appear to be too bad.

I buy GYG from moorabbin once per week for the past few years. It has always been fresh and full of flavour. This is my favourite fast food by a long shot. Healthy and delicious.
