Gum Tree Pies

Yum! Very tasty sausage rolls with lovely flakey pastry and the filling isn't all breadcrumbs - its herby and sausagey.

Stopped here to get a pie for breakfast, ended up with the sausage roll as it looked like great value for money, which was correct. Wonderful home made sausage roll, one of the best I've ever eaten, great value and very delicious. Will be buying again when I'm back in Bright. The service was great even when we walked in the door right as they opened.

Stop over to pick up a quick bite. Came by here to get the much sought after pies.
Tried the chicken and curry pies. Even the veggie ones. Sadly no GF versions. Would be great if we could get a GF ones. However the GF chocolate caramel slice is to die for. Very very tasty.

I love their creamy cauliflower pie & spicy reddish sauce. Recommend to everyone who stayed at Bright for a quick meal.

Undoubtedly the best pies, super tasty, huge chunks of meat/veg, well cooked pastry (base and lid). I dare you to find a better pie shop!

Wow! One of the best chicken pies I’ve had. Period!

So glad we decided to stop in and have a quick bite at Gum Tree Pies Bright. We shared a the sausage roll and had a chicken and veg pie each. The serving size of the roll is quite generous and filled with flavour. The chicken pie was perfectly cooked and seasoned that it didn’t require any sauce.

Add this to your must visit if you’re ever in Bright or nearby. Your tastebuds will Thank me later

I ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, stop by Gum Tree for a pie on the way through. The Guiness pie in particular is outstanding. Highly recommend.

Canned mushrooms should never be included in a $8 streak and mushroom pie. Disappointed but the pie was flavoursome.

Staff are friendly, order was messed up TWICE. Although pies are nice, had to wait 2 hours for them to cool down enough to be able to eat, only to find that they stuck to the foil in which they were cooked in.

Stopped in here after walking the canyon trail. We got the chicken thai green curry, beef Guinness, chicken and mushroom and the steak pies - Absolute ripper pies and good value for money! Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing pies (had the Thai green chicken curry x 3 days in a row….)

Tried all the bakeries etc in the area and this is hands down the best (including great service)

Steak and Pepper pie - great meat and chutney was great but way too much salt was used which spoiled the taste significantly. The coffee was also pretty average.

Best pie shop in Bright! We went 4 times in 4 days. The Thai green chicken curry was my favourite, absolutely delicious and flavourful. The iced mochas were also amazing and the staff are lovely:)

I was blown away by their pies. The crust was flaky, the filling was super yum with generous amount of tender chunky steak. Gum Tree Pies is officially my number 1 favourite and will recommend them to families and friends. A+

Love love love their pies! These are the best pies I've had so far. The pastry is crisp, flaky and light. Each pie is filled generously with quality filling, bursting with flavor. These are worth driving 3.5 hours for and I'll be back soon.

Wasn't very impressed with the pies.
The top fell off and the rest ended up on my plate. Why does this happen?
Common issue with bakery pies.
I'd love to find a way to fix this.
