Gully Fish & Grill

The fish are generally fairly fresh & well cooked. The chips are about average for a chippery and could be greatly improved if boiled for a short time before frying.

Not bad as far as fish and chips goes quite good lots of extra sides. Looks like new owners are being trained up so have to wait and see if things change.

Only employ junior staff, they look miserable, really not a pleasurable experience dealing with people that are only employed because they are half the cost of other employees

Ordered over the phone to find out they do cash only. Considering they had already made the meal, i even offered a bank transfer as my card was still due to arrive. Based on this I couldn't even tell you how the food was.

Quality has dropped since new owners took over chips, fish very dry and tasteless doesn't look like oil has been changed in a while batter almost brown I will be going back to Anne rd fish &chips clhoes

Ordered a variety of different food from the menu, all food was soggy with oil, chips were under cooked, fish wasn't as ordered. I don't know why the food was so terrible on a quiet night.

I'm going to rate it 3 stars because simply the fact that the original owners no longer own this establishment, and honestly it was the main thing that kept making me come back the new owners ARE friendly, but not that talkative, bare in mind they are asain, may not know that much english, which is COMPLETELY fine! Gyros meat burnt and was informed on the size I was able to buy over phone order. Bettet options in takeaway food in area in my opinion.

Sadly this shop has been sold to the Chinese, like most fish and chips around Knox and surrounding suburbs

Have only bought HSP/kebabs from here, but wow what an awesome HSP!

The meat is 1. Fresh, 2. Real, 3. Very well cooked.

When most shops are selling frozen lamb shavings that resemble strips of rubber, with about 1/5th of the flavour and texture of meat.this is a breath of fresh (meat?) air!

Highly recommended the mixed HSP, both the lamb and chicken are delicious. Seems like the best time to come is around lunch time, when the skewers are fresh and sizzling:)

Very tasty food, prices are average for fish and chips, potato cakes and chips are consistent in thickness and taste and fish very nice and the staff are very friendly

Great fish and chip shop. Always busy because they are consistent and delicious. Lots of classic fish and chip shop options, Angus burger is great, and fresh salads to boot.

No EFTPOS - cash only. Was told I could get cash from the ATM at the local IGA at no charge. That wasn't true - a cash withdrawal (of $20) required a $2.90 surcharge. Went back to tell them they were wrong about the 'free withdrawal' and was abused by the owner who said 'that's between you and your bank'. He remained unrepentant when I said that he should know that he was being untruthful when referring me to the local IGA ATM saying it was a free withdrawal. I wouldn't mind a 50c surcharge (like some other places charge) or a minimum EFTPOS payment (as long as it was reasonable) but will never return to this place.there are plenty of other great options in the general area where you are treated with respect and honesty

Grilled flake is to die for! Always fresh and tasty and fast. Only negative would be that their salads are on the expensive side.

Wicked food. $12 hamburger with lot, chips & drink. Best deal. Old school meat in burger. Best burger in area by far & caramelized onions makes the burger.

Really great service, food is great and served quickly.only improvement I can suggest is the chips. Sometimes they're amazing, but most often they're just average. Everything else is fantastic and definitely recommend!

Souvalaki is the best I've had and the fish amazing. MAKOS are good too but this place is fish n chip perfection! Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmy Chips cooked to perfection! Comming back for sure!

The good ol' Greek fish and chip shop. Everything is great quality, fair priced, and quickly served. A big range on offer, and everything is consistently well cooked. Some of the best fish and chips in the area, with some of the nicest people working there. Love 'em.
