7 Looks like it has changed ownership. Been cleaned up inside. More minimal now. I liked it the way it was.

Fantastic food and atmosphere at this lovely historic store. Bit of a shame they closed10am on Sunday during a long weekend! We just got a coffee in time! But we stayed around outside for an hour to watch the cycle race going through and counted 31 customers over the hour who dropped in but couldn't buy anything! Silly business management and unfair to local community. Very disappointing.
Guildford General Stall is a lovely country cafe which, in my estimation, crafts some of the tastiest coffee in the region. Plus cakes and some nice small meals. Also acts as a corner grocery store and social hub for Guildford village.
