Guildford Family Hotel

A well run country pub with great food. A large beer garden suitable for children to play in as well as for adults to sit, chat, and enjoy a cold beer. We have been here many times and it is always good.

Great small town country pub food is excellent services always with a smile and a beer garden with old stables and even an old jail you could lock your kids in what's not to like

The food is really good from a very nice menu. Wine list of local wines is great. Service both friendly and efficient. Will be going back to try more if the menu.

Tried being a gastro pub but has now soaked back to being a nice country pub with standard beers and food. Overall quite nice. A bit frustrating when they run out of beer and food options, though.

Very disappointing to see the only vegan option on the menu was the old veg curry. With so many options of vegan food available why do pubs always go with the same regurgitated curry. It was tasteless, bland, the chickpeas were mashed and the ‘veggies’ consisted of carrots. The papadam was stale. Not even appealing to a non vegan.
I couldn’t eat it. It was horrible.
After being told I wasn’t going to be charged for it I wasn’t even offered anything else to eat and was kind of ignored after that.

Had been recommended by friends and boy was it awesome! - food was absolutely delicious, Mrs P had the pub face, chicken parmi and it was huge, freshly crumbed and cooked - I settled for the pork belly and it was tender, full of flavour and really generous serving. The only problem Mrs P found was there wasn't enough Sticky Date Pudding for her - We will be back, especially for the Friday night raffle!

What an amazing gem! We just came across this pub while travelling around and couldn’t have been happier with the food and service. Will be coming back and definitely worth the trip.

Fantastic food and lovely country pub hospitality. Great lace for lunch or dinner. Very generous serves of delicious food.

Dined for dinner as staying in the area for the weekend. I had the NT barramundi & it was tasty. Hubby had a chicken parma & enjoyed that also. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. Will definitely return & try other menu items if visiting the area again.

Very happy with everything, very consistent. Took 2 friends this week with me & they loved it.

Had a chicken burger and pumpkin with ricotta pasta. Food took a while to come out. Burger was nice but loved the pasta even more. Service was very friendly. Great beer garden or the back with lots of space

The 'Guildford Family Hotel'. You never know what you may find if you go for a drive around Victoria! History is always lovely to look at, in any weather! Enjoy the Local Area.

Pleasantly surprised by this family hotel. Already impressed by the dinner menu which includes traditional pub fare as well as modern twists on certain items. Even more impressed by the Sunday roast lunch in the delightful beer garden one fine Sunday afternoon. Simply delicious in huge portion size with all the trimmings. Staff was friendly and attentive too. Kudos to Megan and Tom for revamping and running this gem in this country town.

Such a warm welcoming experience. Felt like we were going to a friend's place for dinner. All staff were friendly and accommodating with requests. The food came out very quickly and cooked fresh. Dessert was homemade which was lovely. It offered everything you could ask for from a country pub and much more.

The meal was absolutely amazing and generous, cooked to perfection, we had Chicken, Brie Filo parcel with herb potatoes and salad, will definitely be back for that again. Our waiter Ari was so attentive, he was just lovely.

This is the penultimate "country pub". Friendly hosts, service & atmosphere. Food delicious and great selection of beverages.

We felt welcomed the moment we arrived. The food was cooked to perfection and would have been at home in any top restaurant. The beer garden was the perfect place to spend a spring day lunch. Loved it.

Food and staff good but $12 for two soft drinks a bit expensive. Food price was average for a pub meal.
