Lovely experience!

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Made it super easy for me to get my check up done, including request of transfer of files.

Dr. Rich Canlas and Pathologist Jenny were absolutely amazing, was super helpful and was not in a rush to finish my appointment. You know they actually care.

Highly recommend!

The doctors and team are always great. I was disappointed today when your clinic rang me to organise payment for my 17 year old son who was simply after a new letter of referral as the older one had expired. Some discretion could have been used. Thank you

New staff, reception staff quite rude. New rules for Bulkbilling and getting appointments not great. Think i will go elsewhere, shame as this has been my Clinic for 10years or so.

My husband and I just had our first visit to Guardian Medical Clinic and came away full of praise for the service we received from Dr. Hardy.
She was very professional and also very helpful to both of us.
We did not have to wait to be attended to and felt very comfortable with her and the service of the clinic.

Dr. Ali Zavery,

Is a True Example to all Existing and Upcoming Doctors for the Future.

Compassionate,
Understanding,
Informative, full of all round medical knowledge. Extremely intelligent and down to Earth.
Unlike a decent percentage of current and upcoming Doctors that practice for monetary gain. I assure you Dr. Zavery has chosen his profession for the right reasons.

Overall it is a very good family oriented clinic. Dr Sarah and Dr Mehdi are the best, very knowledgeable and professional.

The doctors are fine but reception is cold and feel like you annoy them each time you call or come in the clinic. They never give you proper information which doctors are bulk billed and it keeps changing each time without any warning. You are slapped an out of pocket payment randomly. No consistency which doctor is bulk billed and which one not. It’s the patient right to know these information beforehand such as phone consultation that was bulk billed initially suddenly became full price without your knowledge. They don’t even seem to know this information when asked.
Fortunately there are other medical places around that provide better services and fully bulk billed with great doctors.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY SICK. They are only good for giving you certificates for time off. I have been sick for a while with ongoing issues. After having tests they told me everything looked good when I did not feel good. Told me to just rest. Ended up in the hospital days later because of something they said was 'fine'. My dr at the hospital was shocked as the tests had said I wasn't okay. Then the audacity for them to call 3 days of me being in hospital to say I should go on antibiotics because something has come up when the hospital drs had contacted them.

The admin area needs to be overhauled with new staff they are rude as described by many others here writing reviews. Doctors are pretty good.

Finding a good doctor that you feel comfortable is really hard but doctor Sarah Hardy is absolutely incredible! I give her work 5 stars and definitely recommend. However, the one reception staff is extremely rude and act as if you have no clue what you are talking about. I watched her (very rudely) tell an elderly lady she has to wear her mask, which is fine as it is a requirement, however the woman was visibly struggling to breathe without the mask on already and vocalised her struggles. The response was she needs to put it on to be inside (understandable but again, done so rudely and with no compassion). Then, I was instructed in my appointment to give my sample to either pathology if they were in, or to reception if they were not as it was their break time. Pathology was not there so I gave my sample to the receptionist as instructed. However she then repeatedly told me I would have to wait (atleast 30-45 minutes) to give the sample to pathology because if I give it to her then it would get thrown out, even after stating multiple times it’s labelled and has the attached form with all of my notes for pathology which she said were the requirements for her to take it. The worst part was after I changed my plans for the afternoon and waited to give pathology my sample, the pathologist told me I should have just given it to reception to store it or hold onto it for me. That was what made me really mad. Honestly it would have been fine if the reception staff just wasn’t so rude about it all. Considering the amount of reviews about the admin team, most which I assume are about her based on description, it is clear nothing is being done about her attitude towards patients.

I went there to sign a statutory declaration today. Doctors are legally obligated to sign statutory declaration and it will only take 5 minutes of their time. The receptionist informed me that I need to be a patient of the clinic and I need to make an appointment to see a doctor. The receptionist agreed to speak with Dr Mehdi and he asked her to ask me to register as a patient and to make an appointment as a patient to sign a statutory declaration. Clearly this is an abuse of Medicare and a reportable offence to Medicare. Stop abusing our Medicare system.

Disappointing to say the least. We have held off writing this review over the past year of being a patient at this clinic in order to 'see if it improves'. However, each time the same issues occur and we are no longer able to hold back and will be taking this further to Health Complaints Commissioner. While the doctors themselves, are very friendly and kind in the room, this does not justify or rectify the poor service overall. Each time we have visited, we have waited 30-60 minutes for our appointment. We are then taken in, seen (well past our appointment time) and sent outside to deal with the dismissive and unfriendly admin staff. We are always charged for a LONGER appointment (we are never longer than 15 minutes with the doctor). On top of this, we have been informed that our blood tests - (That the GP personally sent us for and previously gave us results back for and advised medication for) are not on file and no results can be found. Being pregnant, these results are important and to be told that you have no blood results on file from your entire pregnancy is unacceptable. On top of this - the attitude of the front desk is horrific. They don't as much as return a smile (on any occasion- people have bad days which is understandable- but this is on every visit or interaction). They bark orders at you and are as unhelpful in person as they are over the phone. We want to be clear, that we do feel for medical reception and admin staff, HOWEVER a line needs to be drawn. This is particularly in relation to the main female admin - From the moment they answer the phone, they are rude and dismissive (every time) and interact with you as if you are an inconvenience. Seeing as though, as a patient we are calling in because we are unwell, concerned, or seeking help - being spoken to like we are inconveniencing them and we are wasting their time from the word Hello - is completely unacceptable and unprofessional (never mind inhumane!) We are pregnant and expecting our first child, so on the maybe 4 times we have called in (which is not a significant amount considering we are almost 6 months pregnant), you would expect a level of care. Our requests are never unrealistic or unreasonable, we assure you of that. On top of this, you can expect to wait 2 + weeks for an appointment with your doctor. Again, being pregnant, this is unacceptable in itself - however I held my tongue and waited patiently - I confirmed my appointment the day before as requested by the SMS and APP booking, only to be called on the day to be told my appointment was cancelled and the earliest to be seen was 4 days away. This is just not good enough. We understand that the medical industry is in a difficult position at the moment and yes, working in the industry, I understand the stress. But overall you are in a position where you care for people (people who are likely in need and vulnerable) and the treatment we have both been dealt, as well as other patients at your clinic - is unacceptable and harmful. We will obviously not be returning to this clinic, but we felt it necessary to inform other patients looking as well as those at the clinic, who don't acknowledge when we have broached this issue over the phone. I truly hope there is change, and that the HCC take action.

What type of doctor doesn’t order an X-ray on a 76 yo patient who presents with extensive bruising, swollen limb, past history of falls & osteoporosis?
One that obviously cares about the money for the consult and not the patient.
Thank god mum insisted on an X-ray coz HER ELBOW WAS BROKEN AND NEEDED SURGERY.

I’ve been a long time family customer and love many of the doctors there, the one thing that really lets them down is the blatant unapologetic rudeness of the admin staff.
Every time I’ve called, I’ve been dismissed and spoken over, and when addressed I’ve been blamed for my ignorance.
Very disappointing.
