Guardian Childcare & Education Laurimar

Entering Guardian Childcare & Education Laurimar feels like coming home. The team are a pleasure to deal with and the children love being there. It's comforting to know our children are in good hands and are happy at the centre. We enjoy receiving daily updates through Storypark and being involved in our childs early learning journey.

Such an incredible centre! My 3 kids absolutely adore the educators and enjoy going each day. They settle in so well, basically running through the doors at drop off. My kids being Aboriginal, the centre incorporates their culture in so well and so beautifully and respectfully as well as other cultures. The food on the menu looks delicious and healthy exposing my kids to food they wouldn’t normally try at home, my fussy eater now likes to eat different kinds of food. So many great things about this centre, no cons at all. The space is super clean and feels very comforting and safe.

My son has been at the centre since he was around 8 months old and I’m so glad I made the decision to send him here. He absolutely loves his educators and friends. I can always count on the educators to provide him top quality care with such skill and passion for their job. The atmosphere, culture, vibe, food are all amazing. Management are top quality too an always very helpful and welcoming which is a bonus!

My daughters have been attending the centre for 2 years now and from day one I have felt so comfortable with the team and environment. Everyone is so lovely, warm and kind and my children love it! The rooms are so inviting for the children, huge fantastic yard and great facilities.
I love that they use many recycled products for art and craft and have great programs each week for the children with lots of sensory activities.
Guardian Laurimar also offer extra curriculum activities like sport and Happy Feet dance class and my daughter absolutely love both.
The team are super supportive, really care for each child’s needs and will go above and beyond to make the environment a very happy, safe place:)

My granddaughter has attended guardian Doreen for 3 years now and watching her grow up and enjoy her learning experience at guardian has been such a joy. The staff are fantastic and nothing is to much trouble if you require and assistance. Highly recommend guardian child care.also you get daily updates as to the activities for the day which I look forward each day

Cannot recommend this child care centre enough. The team have endless fun and educational activities for the children and my boy has absolutely blossomed since being here. He was born a week before Melbournes first lockdown and I was worried about his lack of social interaction. The skills and characteristics he is developing is a credit to your centre. Thank you for everything you do for our kids and treating them like family

Nothing but wonderful things to say about the team at Guardian Laurimar. Such a warm and welcoming environment created by educators and management as well as beautiful resources for the children. My daughter loves it here and feels safe and supported by her educators. 10/10!

Beautifully kept centre, really kind staff and nice fresh food availability for the children. I highly recommend this childcare centre because the staff are very accommodating to the children's needs with daily updates

My 2 kids go to the Centre and I can’t fault Guardian. All the teachers and office staff have been amazing, my kids are so happy at the Centre. The room teachers are always so kind and loving with the kids and the kinder room has a fantastic educational program that has seen my 4 year old build so much confidence and intelligence in preparation for school next year. The management team are always supportive and accommodating, we’ve loved being part of the community at laurimar guardian

I reviewed guardian a little over a year ago when my son first started attending and it was amazing, I've left my review up for people to see. Unfortunately we have since removed our son from this establishment for a few reasons listed below:

1: staff regularly overstep their job boundaries when it comes to medical conditions. I was forced to obtain 3 separate doctors certificates to prove my son did not have a specific ailment because staff (management and room staff) continued to dispute the certificates and tell me they basically knew better than my doctor.

2: consistent lack of communication between staff and myself in regards to my sons development and future plans for my son to move rooms. Over the course of 6 months we were told he would be moved to 3yo kinder but we're given different answers as to when depending who we spoke to. We were eventually told he wouldn't be moving up for reasons i have since found out are things he's meant to be taught IN 3yo kinder.

3: lying. We do not know if it was the educators caring for my son or the current management that was lying to us but we were told polar opposite stories from both parties when questioned about my sons future movements. We found this unacceptable regardless of who was lying as we should be able to trust them.

4: overbooking/understaffing. I understand in this currently climate that staffing is difficult but i believe this should be accommodated for when taking on new families/ children.

The facilities at guardian are amazing and with the right staff the experience can be incredible. Unfortunately over the past few months this had not been the care we were lead to expect from here.

Such a beautiful place to sign up your child/children at Childcare Centre. The team who’s managing the centre is very professional and the teachers are very kind and friendly. Children have good experience in learning and having fun. Highly recommended

My daughter started at Guardian Laurimar shortly after its opening in early 2018, and the Centre has gone from strength to strength since that time. My son has since joined the Centre, and it's been wonderful to see both of my children grow and develop under the guidance of Lucy and her brilliant team of educators. The facilities are excellent, and the children are provided with nutritious meals cooked on site by Trish and Alice. It's also lovely to follow my children's daily learning experiences on the Storypark app. I highly recommend Guardian Laurimar to families looking to enrol their child in an inclusive and supportive early learning centre.

My son had the best experience being looked after by the team at Guardian. The centre is always immaculately clean, with amazing set ups, activities and incursions for the kids. The staff always go above and beyond to make him feel secure and happy and looked after, I always have total trust leaving him with them. Couldn’t be happier with our time there:)

My son started at Guardian when he was just 5 months old and he really likes coming here every morning. The staff and educators are so caring, loving and fantastic. They take care of kids like their own. Chef is wonderful and cooks delicious meals. I highly recommend this center.:)

Educators have been so supportive and understanding when helping our COVID baby transition into the new environment. The management team have been incredible! I’ve never been so happy at a child care centre. The educators care so much about their roles in each child’s life. It means so much as a mother to be a part of the Guardian community!

Guardian has been an amazing childcare! All of the staff are fantastic and professional, the meals are made on site and the cook is the best. It has a big family feeling and the kids love going there. I would recommend this centre to anyone.

Since starting at the start of the year our son had absolutely loved going to daycare. He enjoys seeing the educators and the bond he has with each one is so special. Looking forward to more learning here!

We love guardian! Our daughter started at guardian childcare a few months ago and the team there has made it a wonderful transition for our daughter and family. The staff are exceptional, wonderful people. They take excellent care of our daughter and you can tell they genuinely care about her- she always has a huge smile on her face when greeting her educators in the honeysuckle room. Management is excellent to deal with and the communication has been exceptional. Thank you Laurimar Guardian childcare and the beautiful team in the Honeysuckle room.

They have helped us with our child's growth so much. We are so glad we choose here for our child's kinder years and wish we came earlier. It has been the best move for us.

Guardian Laurimar is an amazing day care centre, our daughter has been there since she was 9 months old. The centre is always clean and well maintained but it’s the educators and the team that make this centre 5 star! Even as babies the room have educational activities, fantastic play opportunities and a variety of healthy food. They made me feel comfortable from day 1 (when I was very nervous) and have adapted to any of our requests and supported us all the way! Thank you for all you do in caring for our daughter!
