Guardian Childcare & Education Box Hill (formerly Sweetland Road)

I started to send my daughter there since she's 8 months old, the staffs are so kind, friendly and nice. & I can tell my daughter loves there because she's always got a big smile when seeing them.

My son has been attending this childcare centre for almost three years and we are very happy with the care he receives. Not only are the staff very friendly, they frequently devise thoughtful and engaging activities for the children. I recommend Guardian Box Hill to anyone seeking high quality care for their children.

We love Sweetland Rd Guardian Box Hill! The centre manager and educators are informative and accommodating. As parents, we wanted our child to be cared for, feel nurtured and secured and be guided with the right “tools” to be prepared for this world. Guardian Box Hill is helping us to achieve that.

We've been really pleased with our decision to send our son to Guardian Box Hill. All of the staff are genuine, engaged, friendly and really care about the kids. The centre and centre manager have been flexible and responsive too.

This was the 3rd child care place we looked at for our son 2 years ago and as soon as we were welcomed at the door and stepped into the building we knew it would be the right fit for our family. The place is bright, clean and has a homely feel. The educators are friendly and genuine. Our son has been happy here, starting off in the baby room and now a big kinder boy. We are more then happy to recommend this wonderful child care.

As a first time mum, putting your child in a childcare is one of the hardest thing to do! After a lot of research, consideration and discussions, I decided to choose Guardian Box Hill for my 13 month old son. I never regret the decision! They might be not a very big center, but they have a homey feeling where my son feels loved and taken care of. This is the type of childcare where ‘everyone knows everybody’, they have experienced staffs that has been working there for ages. I’m so grateful for the educators in this place (especially Maggie and Rupinder) because they really care, passionate and loving the children in the babies room. I feel so relieved seeing that my son is settled and loving this place, he’s so excited to come here and sometimes doesn’t even want to leave. Veronica the center manager is very kind, understanding, flexible and very reassuring as well. I feel so lucky to find this place and trusting my son into their care. I will highly recommend Guardian Box Hill if you’re looking for a caring, reliable and homey childcare for your precious little ones.

I have had my daughter attend Guardian since she was 9 months (currently 17 months). She attended Guardian three days a week at the start and two days at another childcare centre nearby my home residence. In comparison of her attendance simultaneously with Guardian and the other childcare, I was able to differentiate the level of care my daughter received. Where Guardian, communicates directly to us regarding her day, if non-attendance Guardian contacts us to check in on my daughters welfare, when concerns arises with my daughter we are immediately notified even if it may seem not important, and many other little things that are really the big things during our daughter’s development in her early childhood years. She is now attends on full-time basis from June 2020. Although, she stayed home with me during COVID19 as I was working from home. Guardian found ways to engage interaction with Sofya so that she doesn't lose her connection with the staff by inviting her to zoom sessions, reading books, singing and seeing the people and children at the childcare. I simply enjoy the interaction with the staff in discussion of her day at their care and the daily StoryPark update where I am able to see pictures what she has been up to on that day. I highly recommend Guardian childcare for their friendliness, prompt response and ability to provide the best care, the security and appropriateness in their dealings in regards to her daily well-being and etc. I solely want to thank all the staff making me feel comfortable in my journey in raising Sofya after when that uneasiness of transitioning to going back to work after maternity leave. Thank you Rupinder and Maggie for making our daughter feel safe and happy.

Both my kids have been cared for by the amazing staff at Guardian Box Hill. My son started at the centre when we moved to the area when he was 3yo back in 2015 and my daughter started at 9.5months in 2017 (she's now 4yo).

Quite a few of the carers/educators at the centre have been there for many years which speaks volumes of the warm and caring environment at the centre.

The centre has a homely and inviting feel which I love and both my kids have enjoyed their time at Guardian Box Hill, my son still has fond memories there.

We have been sending our kids to Guardian Childcare on Sweetland Road since 2015 (when my first son was 1 year old). I must say their expertise and professionalism in caring for my son was top notch. Maxwell enjoyed going to Sweetland Childcare centre everyday even now although he's now in prep. My daughter Brooklyn is currently attending the same centre which we never get sick of walking in and out for the past 5 years. Well, we have another couple of years to go. I must say, all the staff at this centre are so lovely and helpful. They understand the children really well and make them feels like home. For those mummies out there who's trying to find out which centre around Box Hill is the best, look no further than this centre! You'll be amaze when you walk through the gate. Thank you Veronica and all your staff for being so helpful to us especially caring for our children. Without you guys, we wouldn't be able to perform our day to day. My daughter has been attending the centre since she was almost 11 months old until now (5.5 yo). I have actually enrolled her in a different daycare before I found Guardian Box Hill (when it was still called Sweetland Rd ELC!), and when I did the centre tour, I just fell in love with how everything is set up, and the whole feel of the centre. So, I moved her right away. The educators have been so wonderful with helping her adjusting to childcare life, considering that she was a very clingy baby and I felt safe leaving her in their hands. I feel that her development and learning is well supported here and it has been amazing to see her personality blooms over the past 4 years. I am very grateful for Veronica and her team and will not hesitate to put my youngest here next year when I have to go back to work!

My son attends Sweetland road and we are so happy with the centre. The staff are caring, nurturing and experienced. Management are friendly and approachable. Staff really get to know your child. There’s a real garden outside which is huge and allows for plenty of fun activities. The environment inside is warm and welcoming with both natural and man made resources to encourage learning. The food menu is restaurant quality and varies each season to expose the children to a variety of tastes. There are well thought out educational yet fun activities every day (eg cooking, games, play doh, painting) special days and celebrations eg NAIDOC week, Chinese New Year, tree day, Father’s Day, and the centre also organises incursions and excursions.

My child attends to baby room at Sweetland Rd, and the staffs are so nice. I can see my child learned a lot of things! Also, their food always looks nice. Love the centre so much and highly recommended Sweetland Rd in this area.

My daughter has been in this Childcare for almost two years now. She got lots of friends there now and she feels comfortable there. The educators often give me feedback on how we can help kid to develop better in certain area. The center manager and educators are like friends for us, I feel lucky that I found this place for my daughter. There are not many child care center can do really well like this.

Very nice staff, warm place like home, absolutely the lovely place for children to stay, love it!
