6One of my favorite jobs ever was with this company. It wasn’t just that they paid us well, they also invested in us and made everyone feel like we were part of a big family. I’ll always miss my coworkers and all the wonderful memories we shared working together.
Almost had a bad experience where they sold me barcodes when they were already is use, however the rep was extremely apologetic as soon as I pointed it out and they made it right immediately. A+ for honesty and customer care.
Looks like a really great system, but a week after paying $640 for an annual membership, I still don't have account login details. Instead I have the name of an employee we had a year ago, and have been directed to use their name and to create a new password, despite filling in an application form for a whole new account and naming myself as the main contact. I have emailed and phone multiple people in customer service and account management to no avail. Hopefully their IT department resolve soon. Production in China is on hold until we can get a new barcode. We need 600 all together. It's a shame we're not a priority.
I just got off the phone with their customer service team and all I can say is Wow! A lot of these companies nowadays promise a positive customer experience but GS1 actually delivers. Not only did their CS Rep (I can’t believe I forgot his name!) get all of my questions answered, but he took the time to make sure I had a thorough understanding of the different products they offered. And not in a sales-y way either! He gave very honest answers and recommendations, even steering me away from something he didn’t think was right for me based on the size of my business. A truly wonderful experience! I cannot recommend them enough!
Was bullied by a a GS1 Australia rep into believing we can only us their Barcodes, she went as far as treating to put debt collectors on to our business all because I chose not to renew our subscription with the intention to use another option. Do your research before signing up, try googling Barcodes Australia.
Helpful for students to study supply chain. Next time ask them about the responsibility to create a transparent supply chain with such a monopoly business. With great power comes great responsibility, instead of charging 800$ annually for a global gs1 barcode. The company and customers deserve more than that with the ability to track the origin of the products.
