Grumpy Papi's Cafe

Food was super slow. We wait for half an hour. They were not busy. After my husband asked they said they had problems sending our order to the kitchen. Brunch to lunch time. Very disappointed. Finished our coffee and the food hasn't come.

Friendly customer service. Nice little place. Coffee was delicious, chai latte wasn’t as strong in flavor. Smashed avocado was flavourful. We Just found the portion for side of mushrooms to be abit too less than other places. Other than that, overall a nice place for a quick breakie before heading down to the beach. Lots of nice options available.

I came to this café famished and I left it satisfied. They do a great almond latte which means the coffee beans from Genovese suits most milks i am pleased to report:). The chef made me the perfect Salmon Benedict on sourdough and together with my coffee became the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time. I ate at 10 and I’m still full at 2pm! The portion sizes are just what you need in your main meals. If you haven’t tried them yet and you’re in Mornington they are absolutely worth the stopover!
Side note: the staff were friendly too but I’m a food focused person! Delicious. Thank you Grumpy Papi!

Just popped in for Coffee and cake and even though they were busy they brought our order to the table quickly.

Honestly a really nice little café, very humble & hardworking staff. The food is amazing, as well as the coffees! Thoroughly enjoy grabbing a coffee there:)

Very disappointing service today.
I was with a party of 9 and ordered a salad sandwich which arrived after everyone else had their meal. It was meant to have quite a few ingredients in it but only had carrot, lettuce and tomatoes. When I took it back to get the rest of the ingredients it never came back. Ended up getting a refund and it will be the last time I go there.

I love that one handsome young man that makes coffees. Amazing person, lovely customer service, excellent coffee. Will come back to see him again

Food and coffee is ALWAYS awesome, staff is amazing all around. Looking forward to them being open till 8pm and serving alcohol bonus

Maybe it was an off day but the coffee was not great! Takeaway Soy latte was so hot it burnt my mouth and had a really plastic taste. I left the whole thing.

Located within HomeCo Mornington (Old Masters store). Had brunch here after an appointment in the area. The food was served quickly and the coffee was good.

Finally a place that serves good coffee. It was nice and hot, not luke warm like everywhere else.
I have the calamari which was so tender and the beef croquettes (to die for) were fantastic.
