GRIT PHYSIO reviews
17Came in for ankle pain from dance and was really pleased with the service at GRIT Physio & Podiatry. Div did an amazing job assessing my ankle and providing effective exercises to minimise the pain. Met some of the other great practitioners as well and the clinic has a very professional and friendly atmosphere!
Had a great experience with Grit Physio for my shoulder rehabilitation. Nitin provided expert care and personalised attention throughout my recovery. The clinic was welcoming, clean, and well-equipped with great exercise equipment. Highly recommend Grit Physio for their exceptional services.
Came here recommended by my GP because of a chronic achilles tendinopathy. I was treated somewhere else for more than a year, but here they made a lot of progress in just 2 months. Now I'm back at sports with minimum pain. They have a complete team and use a wide branch of resources to heal you (massages, taping, orthopedics, dry needles, etc).
Div is the best Podiatrist in Melbourne! Beautiful clinic and staff are super nice as well
I was diagnosed with tubialis posterior dysfunction 6 years ago, by an orthopaedic surgeon. I was told that the only solution available to take away my pain was to have an ankle fusion followed by six months of intensive physiotherapy. I refused that treatment believing they’re had to be a better and less invasive way to deal with my pain. I began a hunt for a physiotherapist who would help me with exercises to attack the root cause of my problem. Eventually, on my most recent visit to Melbourne I found The Combat Physio Guy at Grit Physiotherapy. Rulan was amazing, but as my problem was more of a podiatry nature, he recommended me to Divyan Madan. When I first consulted with Div I had begun using a walking stick because I was in so much pain. Div took his time figuring out what was actually going on in my feet. He was so kind and gentle. He gave me confidence that he could help me, provided I did my part too. And I did! I did the recommended exercises, and each week for 6 weeks Div would impress me with his professionalism as he analysed what was happening in my walk. Then he massaged my feet and legs to get more flexibility into my muscles, and when necessary, used other therapies including taping my feet for extra pain relief. Thank you Div. You have made a massive difference to my life, because living with chronic pain is exhausting! I am delighted that I can now nearly walk ‘normally’! I have virtually no limp and I certainly don’t need my walking stick! I will continue to do the exercises, and when in pain, I’ll catch a plane from NZ to get further help. I know the trip will be worth it.
I saw Div when I came down from Sydney and I’m so glad I did. I can finally move better and he goes above and beyond to make sure of it. Thanks again!
Divyam has been great, helping me get back to pre-injury levels. Really thorough and motivating! Couldn’t recommend enough…
Div is the best going around! He is your guy for any lower body injuries. Took care of me well, goes above and beyond to make sure you get to where you want to be.
Working on roofs 5 days a week and playing cricket on Saturdays I had developed pain in my heels that was fast becoming unbearable.
I was lucky to be referred to the professional team at Grit Physio through a teammate at my cricket club.
From the get go Divyam was extremely responsive and hospitable, we were able to find a suitable time and get my feet and condition diagnosed asap.
I was impressed with the extensive questioning as well as video footage used to diagnose my condition of 'plantar fasciitis'.
A clear, step by step action plan to overcome the plantar fasciitis was created and explained to me in detail.
Divyam took scans of my feet to have Orthotics made for me, and I left the Physio with my heels strapped which provided instant and much welcome relief from the throbbing pain I was experiencing.
I have been given clear exercises to do and have been provided with additional assistance in understanding how the exercises will help with overcoming the plantar fasciitis and I am extremely happy with the quality and timeliness of my new orthotics.
I recommend the professional and friendly team at Grit Physio to anyone, especially those looking to overcome unnecessary foot pain such as plantar fasciitis or any other sports or impact related injuries.
Many thanks.
I had quite a few issues with my shoulder which I was told would take a long time to recover and also to get back to full strength. Thanks to Nitin, in only just a few sessions I was back to full strength and mobility and could return to cricket, gym and basketball full time. Now I'm back to my old self and even performing better than I did prior to the injury. Would highly recommend, thanks Nitin!
I saw Divyam for my knee issues when doing squats at the gym and mashallah he was very helpful. By far the best clinic for lower body issues and sports related physio. Definitely get in touch with these guys, you’ll be looked after well.
Div is a super friendly and helpful podiatrist who helped me acquire orthotics to help with some walking issues I had been having (due to having flat feet). A really smooth and satisfactory experience - you can really tell Div knows what he’s doing!
Had an injured foot and ankle, and Divyam took super good care of me! Explained everything that was going on with my foot clearly and gave me a great set of exercises, and I was working again in no time.
I have struggled with a bad Achilles for years now, i recently went and spoke with Div around getting orthotics and it was the best decision i have made. He took his time to under my issues and worked through many solutions around getting me better. Really recommend the team there to anyone.
The team here really know what they’re doing. Nitin and Ryan have helped me manage my back pain so well that it’s given me confidence to get back to physical activity. Kudos to the team!
Nitin is an amazing Physiotherapist that has provided me excellent improvement with pain and rage of motion from my very first treatment.
His holistic approach to his practice is admirable as he fully understands treating the person not just the complaint.
Nitin sets clear and personalised expectations that I was comfortable with and that was complementary to my lifestyle, strength and comfort level.
I can not thank you enough for getting me moving again!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I had been struggling with my shoulder for the past 2 years and got to a point where I couldn’t lift my right arm up anymore.
I tried many self help videos on YouTube but nothing seemed to be working.
I finally took the plunge and decided to get my shoulder properly checked out Grit Physio.
After the first week of doing function specific exercises, I started to noticing promising results.
3 weeks later, I’m at 80% of my strength and can’t wait to go the extra mile to fully recover
Couple of important lessons I learnt:
1. If you’re struggling with something, getting yourself properly assessed by an expert can save you a lot of time and effort.
2. Having social accountability and booking recurring appointments with the expert helps you stay accountable and is far more powerful than any kind of self-motivation.
Go to Grit Physio if you have any kind of cricket or sports related injuries. Nitin is a bloody legend!
